No, I don't think the other Flash feature has anything to do with scripts running slowly.

Does this problem occur when you are trying to insert emojis or even if you are reading a post/comment containing emojis? Not that I know a solution, but if I wanted to try to generate the error myself, I need to know what to try.

thx 4 de ansr glas bearing man =] i wouldve changed my pic aswell if i wasnt as lazy to get the wordpres or what its calld bloggsite to operate. The problem only/mostly(ive seen it in some other context aswell but i cant rly recall now) when POSTING an emoji

I clicked on the space to add a comment on a friend's post and click the emoji icon. A panel appeared there were very tiny emojis but then they all switched to normal size. I did not see a script error.

My Firefox is still running in single process mode (multiprocess disabled by add-ons) and I use NoScript to block some third party script content. So that might account for the difference, although I not remember see any other threads about FB emojis so it could be something more particular to your setup than mine.
