why do my tabs keep closing?
"Dah! Your tab just crashed." is the error message I get. This is driving me crazy and I am about to stop using this browser. I used to like it. Can anyone explain??

You can try to disable multi-process temporarily to see if that gives a crash report with a more distinct description.
You can disable multi-process windows in Firefox by setting these prefs to false on the about:config page.
- browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false (default)
- browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 = false
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
I am amazed that NO ONE from Mozilla can help me with my question? How can there be no assistance with this tab shut down issue that happens in any mode.
For any geniuses out there who may have connected the dots, the recent Google update was done on my computer just prior to these "Dah, your tab crashed" error messages started showing up. ya think they may have wanted to steer another browser traffic there way??
Some one please give me some support here??? otherwise it's good by Firefox for me.......so DISappointing......
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
