Can I turn off url extensions (?source=3tab) for additional tabs?

I use multiple tabs to manage the content I want to promote on social media, but I notice at the url extension "?source=3tab" is sometimes added to tabs. If I copy the url without manually deleting the extension, it messes up my analytics tracking. Is there a way to disable the extension so I don't have to repeatedly delete it manually?
