I opened up yahoo, I thought that I had location tracking turned off, found the weather displayed for my post code. If I go to an IP locator it shows me as being in yorkshire which is fine. I don't wish to be tracked this way. How can I stop it? Regards

Are you signed into Yahoo? Does your profile have a location setting?

Separate Security Issue: Update your Adobe Reader Version 2015.016.20039 Note: Other Software is offered in the download.

Thanks Fred sorted! I am a bit concerned though that geo location was turned off and then it seems in the process of upgrading it was set on. I have also noticed too with Thunderbird that settings are changed in consequence of installing an update.

Sometimes doing an update can change settings they should not. Best is to report it. Then a bug report can be created.

These can't get your data back, but will help in the future.

These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox

FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backups of files that you choose.
