How do I prevent ads from appearing when I'm on Firefox?
Ads appear whenever I'm on a webpage and are distracting. Usually they appear on the right side of my computer screen. How do I prevent them? Thanks.

Thank you! It's working well so far.
The System Detail list shows that you run an older Firefox 37 version that is no longer supported with security updates.
- It is important to update Firefox and add-ons to the latest versions to get all security fixes.
Please update to the current Firefox 42.0 release.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
