Firefox 42.0 cannot load most photos on http://www.huffingtonpost.com/.
This has been ongoing for at least three or four weeks now over a couple of previous updates. Chrome has the same problem, and neither of them can load the Viafora comments below any article on http://www.latimes.com/ either. Meanwhile, IE has no such problem on either site.

I checked both pages on my FF40, no problem.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Thanks Fred. The problem does disappear in safe mode! I had previously suspected NoScript but the problem didn't go away when I uninstalled it and restarted Firefox at that time to check. Guess I need to check some other add-ons.
Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is detective.
Okay, the problem turns out to be Avira Browser Safety. It's now disabled. Thanks again Detective Chief Inspector Fred!
