Why do some e-mails disappear while I am writing them?

more options

Several times recently I have been about to send an e-mail when it disappears from my screen though the programme is still open. The last time this happened I tried the back button and got a message about security and the server. Has anyone had a similar experience. Am I pressing a short cut for 'cut all'?

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

If your problem is with Mozilla Thunderbird, let us know and we can move this thread to the Thunderbird queue. This question currently is in the Firefox queue for answers.
