how do I view the post data when I request a page?

I'm running Firefox 28 and I need to inspect the POST data. I've looked at the web developer tools but cannot see any relevant tool or setting.

The site in question is on our internal network hence it is rather difficult to get troubleshooting info via, eg, the tool mentioned on this page.
