Since version 29.0.1 Firefox keeps crashing
Since I updated to version 29.0.1 Firefox keeps crashing. Before I had FIrefox 28 and no problems. I found out that my FIrefox uses about 500 to 600 MB RAM. Then the RAM usage suddenly goes up to about 1,5GB and Firefox crashes. What can I do, that Firefox stops crashing?

I do also have crashes since the update, they seem to be linked with javascript since when disabled no crash happens...

Then you can provide more information like your operating system and installed extensions and installed plugins.
In case of crashes also please add some recent crash IDs that you can find on the about:crashes page and that start with a "bp-" prefix

Your crashes are likely out-of-memory crashes where all available memory is used up.
See:
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
I disabled the hardware acceleration and had no crash for 6-7 hours. I think my Firefox 28 was also running about this long, until a crash happend (maybe a bit longer).
Do you know, why there are problems with thehardware acceleration?
We regularly see issues reported caused by hardware acceleration that happen because of incompatibilities between Firefox and the graphics display driver.
Make sure that you have the latest updates.
Updated now my graphic card driver and tried Firefox with hardware acceleration turned on, but it crashes approximately every hour.
I think I will stay with hardware acceleration turned off, until a Firefox update comes out.

I've got the same issue and i disable Hardware acceleration too there 1 day ago and no crashes this far.
