The right pane on google drive is not loading on firefox. It says "Couldn't load, Try again". Dev tools show the error "NS_ERROR_INTERCEPTION_FAILED".

If i clean the data and cookies for the website it starts working but not for long. Last time i did it i lasted like 5 minutes. Turning off all the extensions doesn't help.

I'm logged in on several google accounts, don't know if that matters.

To change the DPI, you need to first export the PDF as an image, then edit and resize the image to your desired DPI. Depending on the tool you are using, you can change the DPI of a PDF from within the program. For example, in Adobe Photoshop, you can go to Image > Image Size and change the DPI value.

This has happened a few times before after a Firefox update, but the most recent occurrence was after the update to version 117.0.1. My mouse wheel will not scroll in the bookmarks drop down menu, I have to use the up and down arrows in the drop down menu which is very slow. When the scroll wheel did work in the past, I could be scrolling and then move the cursor to the up or down arrows and scroll even faster still using the scroll wheel and get to the folder I want a lot quicker. The scroll wheel works normally while scrolling through webpages, the only place it doesn't scroll is the bookmarks drop down menu. I'm running Firefox version 117.0.1 (64 bit) on a Windows 10 notebook PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

TL;DR: Moved firefox browsers, didnt properly export passwords, uninstalled other browser, had logins.json from profile folder, needed to know how to import manually.

Fixed. I just installed the older browser, and properly exported the passwords this time.

I Closed the browser and forgot that I had a private one open too. When I went to open the main Firefox window up, my previous session was wiped! I already tried the right clicking plus sign method to no avail. It just brings up the one I had after searching how to bring back the session and then accidentally closed the browser after. Any tips on how to get it back? Why does this happen just because you have a private window open??? Change that ASAP!

Firefox 117.0.1 (64 bit) Build 20230912013654 Windows 10 Home - Version 22H2 OS build 19045.3448 The link to download my Sears credit card statement in pdf form has disappeared when accessing the website (https://citiretailservices.citibankonline.com) with Firefox. It still appears and works normally when the website is accessed with Chrome. I have the uBlock Origin extension installed on Firefox, but it is disabled on the Sears website. Screencaps attached.

I can not access for days my bank account at truist.com. It shows it is loading but never does. I CAN access from any other browser want to use! Truist says it is a Firefox browser issue.

How does it come that it is still present in 117? Why is there no official guide or warning about this issue? I am forced to use Portable 101 where there are no such bugs. The solution in the thread is unclear and points to Microsoft, which is ridiculous. The question is how to solve that Mozilla's bug?

So, here's the story:

My browser crashed while watching a video and writing a particularly lengthy YouTube comment on it. Knowing that I have been able to recover in-progress Reddit comments after a crash from the sessionstore-backups so long as I was on the page at the time of the crash, I know that at least one site saves all in-progress comments to that, and I highly suspect that is where in-progress Wikipedia edits are kept, I (wanting as much data as possible for as good of a recovery chance as possible) immediately copied all my Profile files, totalling more than 1.6 GB, to a non-volatile folder.

As I had done before, I took the most recent sessionstore-backups file (dated to the exact minute of the crash), forced it through the Session History Scrounger to decompress it, and then mass-replaced the document's \ns with proper newlines in Notepad++, which used to make the file more readable.

This time, it didn't. They must have changed the json newline formatting used between at least late April and now. And more importantly, when I searched through the file for keywords I used in the comment, I couldn't find it. Simply, it appears that in-progress YouTube comments aren't stored in that file.

So, where are they stored? Are they in any vaguely human-readable file (or file that can with some ease be converted into something vaguely human-readable)? Can I somehow revive a "zombie session" using just archived Profile folder data to copy it out of? Or should I just give up and rewrite the comment from scratch?

NOTE 1: This is adapted from a previous post made with an associated account on Reddit. As I fear using Firefox until I get this problem resolved due to the possible loss in ability to recover other data if I do so, I figure that giving the problem more attention here would be beneficial in resolving it more quickly.

NOTE 2: Also, to clarify, I don't need to restore the session and have the comment re-appear; I'd be fine with locating it in a text editor or similar program so I could copy it back into the submission box once the session is restored.

When I upgraded to the latest version of Firefox (September 12, 2023 release - 117.0.1 (64-bit)). I could not connect to the Internet with Firefox (Default Browser for Windows 10). I could connect to the Internet with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. After several hours of troubleshooting, I discovered that I had to: (1) click the Firefox menu button, (2) click Help, (3) select More Troubleshooting Information, (4) click Refresh Firefox ..., and (5) then click Refresh Firefox in the confirmation window that opens. After that Firefox closes to refresh itself. Then I can use Firefox to connect.

Please explain why must I go through this process now, in order to get Internet connection? Additionally, it took me a few hours to discover this process. It was NOT easy to find.

Is there another process that is more straight-forward?

I run several of my Firefox windows in compact sizes, and there are just so many little icons taking up space in the address typing field (what do you call it? It isn't the address bar).

I do not use the Tracker shield. I do not use Padlock "Verified". I do not use "You have granted this website blah blah permissions". I do not use Open in Picture-in-Picture, or the bookmark buttons.

These features, when I need them, I would rather access from somewhere else, like from a menu or with a shortcut key combo.

See the image of how cramped it is with the imo superfluous buttons that for some reason decided they have to live in the text box, preventing me from seeing what I type.

hello. I have a reproducable issue with Firefox. If I use the touch keyboard on Firefox and then exit Firefox without without closing the touch keyboard, when I next start Firefox it only opens with a half view. if I close the touch keyboard first and then exit Firefox it opens as normal in a full screen view. it has nothing to do with either an extension or a theme. is there any way of ensuring that FF opens in full screen view if I forget to close the touch keyboard before exiting the browser? thanks in advance. PS: device is a Surface Pro 7 running Windows 11.

i am unable to connect to state of california edd.ca .gov. once i am on the website and edd tries to send me an email it comes back with an error saying that they were unable to verify my email and to repeat the login process again

I want to make the bottom scroll bar specially to be appeared only on hover and not when scrolling or even make it 100% transparent? I really dont want the bottom scrollbar to interface

Since 117(Beta)I have an issue with Firefox refusing to apply the update it downloaded. I've tried searching left and right on the internet for a solution and one does work which is installing the newer version of the browser each time myself. But this is ofcourse not a solution in the long run.

It tries now to apply the update 118b9 to stable version 118 and it did downloaded just fine and asked me if I wanted to close the program to let it update which always worked. I've tried different DNS to see if that could be the problem, tried a clean default profile to see if that helped, I haven't tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, due to me losing my passwords and what not.

I also tried to run the stable version to see if the issue was still there and it is still there, so me using the beta channel isn't the issue here.

Many websites I use on a regular basis have become unusable on firefox which i have used for over a decade. I can't change my Flickr cover photo because the pop up window is too huge, can't view a complete google doc because the thing is enormous, etc. The issue is that I MUST have the ability to set text in firefox to larger and I do so via the view - zoom in and zoom text only options. I have to have this ability because I have a visual disability. I do not have this issue using chrome but I detest chrome and want to keep using firefox, but entire portions of windows are cut off when they open up and I can't access them by zooming out either. The only thing that changes is the text gets so small that it is totally unreadable. This is a HUGE problem for me. I will NOT change my default windows setting to try and fix a firefox issue because that then screws up my window sizes for games, programs etc for my other software that I also use daily. So I won't be changing what works for 20 programs via windows settings to make ONE browser work better. This is a firefox problem, and firefox needs to fix it. I have tried multiple solutions cited online and nothing is working. If firefox is trying to get rid of it's users with visual disabilities, this is the way to go. Firefox opens blank tabs when following link on existing logged in websites, for example Screwfix. Worked previously, suddenly stopped yesterday. Refreshed Firefox, no change. Re-installed Firefox, no change. Site works fine in Chrome and Edge, so not site error, internet error, PC error, or network error. Please help? Thanks, Mark
