So I'm having a small issue with the volume slider on youtube. The gray bar that indicates volume is about 1% of the size it should be (Please see attached image). It functions fine but bothers me enough that I've contacted support. I've opened it in safe/troubleshooting mode and the issue persists, and there in no issue on chrome. Any help would be appreciated, thanks ^_^.

I am in desperate need of Audio for a Virtual Interview for a dream job, yet I cannot get my Audio to work. Please help me on this soon.

After updating firefox from 128.8.0 to 128.9.0, no embedded videos will play (youtube, instagram, plex, etc...)

The only way to get them to play is to run the browser in troubleshoot mode. Even a fresh browser profile doesn't work. Disabling hardware acceleration also does not work. Tried firefox 137.0.2 and that also does not work. Downgraded back to 128.8.0 and videos play flawlessly again.

I'm running firefox on gentoo linux on a thinkpad x13s (arm64) which uses Qualcomm Adreno 690 graphics.

Anything I should try would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am using Firefox on gnome desktop on the PureOS variant of Debian. About three days ago, I went to listen to my Spotify playlist on Firefox, not through the Spotify app. I had no sound, checked my system settings and turned the volume for Firefox from zero back up to normal. The rest of the song played, but when the next song came on, again no sound. I watched the sound settings and when the song finishes, Firefox disappears from the sound settings list. When the next song starts, Firefox is back in the list but volume is set back to zero. I suspect this may be something in gnome, but I thought I would check here in case anyone else is seeing this issue. Thanks so much for any help or at least a shoulder to cry on :D

Viewing twitch.tv/ IRL streaming, all channels, I've clicked the Twitch player Full Screen, in full screen view, when an AD starts on the streamers' channel, full screen is disabled to minimize and I can see my entire desktop. This never happened over the last 10 years, just began in the last days, I believe after the latest Firefox update.

Hello. Recently I noticed the following problem. When opening some sites where there are videos or broadcasts, I use the mouse wheel to open the necessary videos or broadcasts in new tabs. The situation is as follows. If you slowly open several tabs, for example 5, and then go to them, then you need to click "play" in the video/broadcast center to make the video work. HOWEVER, if you open the tabs (also 5 or more) and switch to them immediately, the video will start automatically. Previously, this was the case when adding several tabs with videos, and after switching to them, the video immediately opened. Not anymore. I didn't change anything in the settings anywhere, I checked both on the PC version of the browser on 133... and on the latest 138... I disabled all add-ons and gave permission for auto-playback of audio and video in the site settings. I would like to point out that this is a problem on many websites. For some, everything works as before. I also note that I reinstalled the browser with a complete cleanup. The hardware on the PC is good

I recently updated my Firefox browser to the latest version, 138.0.1 (64-bit), on Windows.

After the update, I noticed that when playing videos in fullscreen mode (for example, on YouTube or other video websites), the Windows taskbar (the bar at the bottom of the screen with the Start menu icon) does not hide automatically. This is affecting my fullscreen viewing experience.

Before updating to version 138.0.1, the Windows taskbar would hide correctly when entering fullscreen video.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar issue with the Windows taskbar not hiding, or if there are any suggested solutions to help resolve this problem.

Maybe after update, or i dont know why, but now. when youtube (or any other videoplayer) in fullscreen - taskbar menu is visible (Is on topscreen). In google chrome problem is not repeats. I'm using StartAllBack app for classic start menu, but till that day all was fine. I checked on two devices with firefox - the same problem (StartAllBack or windows version wasnt cahnged). Здравствуйте. Последнее время заметил следующую проблему. При открытии некоторых сайтов, где есть видео или транляции, колесиком мышки открываю нужные видео или трансляции в новых вкладках. Ситуация следующая. Если не спеша открыть несколько вкладок, например 5, после перейти к ним, то нужно нажать в центре видео/трансляции "плей", чтобы видео стало работать. НО, если открыть вкладки (так же 5 или более) и сразу же переключаться на них, то видео будет автоматически стартовать. Раньше так и было при добавлении нескольких вкладок с видео, а после переключения на них, видео сразу открывалось. Теперь - нет. В настройках ничего нигде не менял, проверял как на версии браузера для пк на 133..., так и на последней 137... Отключал все дополнения, в настройках сайтов давал разрешение для автовоспроизведения аудио и видео. Хочу отметить, что такая проблема на многих сайтах. На некоторых же всё работает как и раньше. Также отмечу, что переустанавливал браузер с полной очисткой. Железо у пк хорошее, озу 32 гб. Никогда проблем такого рода не было. Прошу помочь с решением проблемы.

Youtube is not working very well with firefox i deleted cash and temporary files and always updating but YouTube always stuck or not completing the video and sometimes not starting

I’ve run into a strange issue with Firefox and WhatNot.com. A few days ago, video streams suddenly stopped working in Firefox, even though they had been fine the day before. I tried everything I could find likehelp docs, forum suggestions, reinstalling Firefox, creating a new profile, deleting Mozilla folders, even cleaning the registry. A few days later, it started working again, but I’m not sure what actually fixed it.

Now the problem is back. Some video streams work, but others just show a black screen. I’ve noticed that streams using OBS (webcams) work fine, but streams coming from phones (iPhone or Android) don’t load—just a black window.

When I checked the developer console during one of the blacked-out streams, I saw this error:

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at wss://128-14-195-99.edge.sd-rtn.com:4712/

This error doesn’t appear when streams are working.

To double-check, I asked my wife to try it on her Firefox browser. As soon as her browser updated, she started having the exact same issue.

Everything works fine in other browsers, but I’d really prefer to keep using Firefox.

Is there any known fix for this? Or a place I can report it as a possible bug?

Please some help around the following issue, since a few days, Firefox will not play mp4 files directly in the browser. What it does when clicking to open an mp4 from the file server, it saves the file first and then opens a window to play it. Or it directly provides the save dialog window instead of playing it in the browser window directly.

Any ideas, appreciated. I have a lot of files to assess for my students, and this browser behavior makes it very tedious.
