I have made Firefox my default browser, and set Google as my default search engine.

I'd like to keep it that way, BUT ...

Every morning when I come to work and open my browser and begin to search .. Yahoo comes up .. or Bing ???? I delete them, and again set Google as the default ... BUT FIREFOX CONTINUES TO REVERT TO YAHOO, or BING SEARCH RESULTS  ?!?!?!?!?!?

Even when I deliberately open Google and search in Google .. the results appear and then suddenly, a new window pops up with Yahoo results, covering up the Google results????

How can I make Firefox respond to the default search setting I choose????

This is intolerable. If I can't get ride of Yahoo and Bing and all these other inferior search engines, then I'm going to go back to using Chrome.

when I log into wetransfer.com the file transfer box is greyed out and I cant use. It works in Microsoft edge.

I try to sign-in to my KP.org account and I get a white page with the message (Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.) I called KP and they said there was nothing wrong with their site. I added the URL to the cookies exception list with no result. I tried to paste the exact URL of the sign-in page into my bit-warden and it said it exceeded the 1000 character limit. I can sign-in on Chrome, but I prefer to use Firefox. any ideas?

I have a number of music clips I want to put in one or more playlists to use with VLC Media Player. How do I create such a playlist? (If I'm asking in the wrong place, I apologize.)

I accidentally ticked the "don't allow [site] to show new windows" (I'm browsing in Spanish, forgive me if this isn't how it's written) box and now one of the functions of the site stopped working because it requires the user to confirm their decision via the pop up window. I'd like to know how to revert this. I've given the site special permissions for pop ups and it hasn't worked.

I had to factory reset my laptop (or rather, an IT support person took over my machine and reset it before I could back up things properly!). I was not able to restore my previously opened tabs (there were a lot, like >100). It appears that all of those tabs still are showing on my mobile version of firefox as 'synced tabs'. Is there a way to pull that sync information from my phone to my laptop? If I press on "synchronise tabs" will the phone receive my laptops current tabs (not what i want), or will it update the laptop (what i do want)?

I am always having this problem of losing all of my open tabs. I am sure I am not the only person who has many parallel task running. Then, for whatever reason, the browser crashes, and in opening the browser, the single "Restore Previous Session" button is the only lifeline back to all of that work.

Would it be too much to ask for a simple session restore feature that is indexed to history? So we could go back to yesterday's session, or last week's, and not lose so much.

This loss of ongoing work happens to me 2-3 times a year, and amounts to untold losses of time, effort, and money.

How do I print a document from email, without the sidebar showing? It doesn't show up on the copy but it moves the document way over to the right with only 1/2 of it showing. I'm Electronically Challenged, Electronically Illiterate, please reply in simple English as I'm living proof that you cannot teach an old dog new tricks! Thank you

Hello firefox, I have been using Google Sheets recently. When I use the mouse wheel on Google Sheets, the screen will not scroll bit by bit, but suddenly the scroll will go to the bottom and right.

The above New Zealand organization is recommending users to use any other browser than Mozilla Firefox. I have used Firefox for many years on their website and about two months ago it comes up with a recommendation to use another browser because Mozilla Firefox will no longer work on their NZ woke/local wank website. I contacted them to ask what the problem was and instead of answering the question they just repeated the message to change browser. I'm sure these local idiots are just being lazy/stupid so I'd like Mozilla to stick a rocket up their dumb-asses. As these twats are the local government lotteries commission I cannot partake of their monopoly online as they won't allow my browser. Please can Mozilla/community help? Hello there, since of late when I try to Google search something through Firefox browser I always get this message: ".....Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot...." So I did the test which took me through millions of tests, and finally gave me the search results. I though this was occasional one off thing but to my horror, no! It does always request CAPTCHA test now. I wonder whether Google doing this purposely to discourage Firefox engine search use and encourage to use Chrome instead - which I found no issues with at all! I use VPN of course but how come Chrome does not bar me while VPN is on? Anybody else found this issue? Thank you!

I can open the main

Etrade page but when I then click on anything else all I get is the hour glass which does not go away.  This is ANY other page I try to go to in Etrade.

I go to Edge and have no problems but I have used FF for many years and would like to continue doing so.

My computer updated with no warning one night, and i lost all personalization and even everything stored in my firefox, the sign ins, passwords, bookmarks, all. is there a way for me to find all that was erased?

I can't find a way to disable tabs scrolling. This is highly confusing, I have to always look for my tabs and do extra clicks and scrolling. This is very distracting. Also those two buttons - "<" & ">" - they occupy extra space. The left one is especially annoying because I expect a "+ new tab" button to be there. I don' want to test/use this new experimental feature, how can I turn this off? Thank you.

So on my Legion laptop, Windows 11 Home, the bookmarks keep rearranging themselves, iv also noticed A LOT of duplicates and folders which I did not add. I rebooted the laptop then tried scanning the it with WindowsDefender and Malwarebytes, and refreshing the application. On my desktop which is synced, there is no issue. I thought I was seeing things at first until I focused right on the bookmark tool bar and every 10-20 seconds one will just pop into a new position. Will a fresh install work? That's my next step, but wanted to see if there is a better solution.
