Windows club downloads to speed up firefox browser: Firemin, Firefox Booster,Speedyfox and Firefox Preloader. Are these offered through firefox settings? Are they safe to use with my Firefox browser?

How can I log in to my firefox account to sync on my new PC if I can't verify the email address associated with my account? I no longer have access to that email because my employer phased it out.

We have a intranet site that works in Edge and Chrome without issues with the site added to "internet options". But for some reason we are getting 401 Unauthorized when trying to access it from Firefox. I have tried adding the urls to: network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-proxies: true network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-non-fqdn: true network.auth.force-generic-ntlm: false network.auth.force-generic-ntlm-v1: false

Ingocnito mode , same error. I have tried disabling all plugins. Disabled DNS over HTTPS.

I have selected the 4 rows for shortcuts on my tab and have installed all but the last 3 spaces in the end of the 4th row. There's no option whatsoever to continue to add those remaining 3 spaces. Any suggestions?

A client of ours has recently raised an issue with with us stating where right-click, Paste does not work when adding text to a new LinkedIn post

After investigating, we have been able to reproduce the same behavior on our devices.

This issue appears to have started after updating to Firefox version 151.0.0. I know this as i have tested this on my work laptop, appeared to work fine then stopped working after manually updating from 150.0.3 to 151.0.0.

Please let us know if there are any known issues, additional troubleshooting steps, or if further diagnostic information would help I have attached screenshots of the issue.

I have also tested this in the Google Chrome web browser and appears to be working correctly as also seen in the screenshots.

when accessing websites where Cloudfare is part of the sequence the page hangs on cloudfare and the page is not displayed. Every time data is transferred through cloudfare the page hangs on cloudfare rending the search useless.

Since last update...the reaction emojis on Facebook are blacked out. The entire bar of emojis are not visible. It is all black. Yet the words are visible when hovered over. There seems to be nothing wrong with the FB site and it has been suggested it could be the browser. So if you have any reports of glitches like this ...would be nice if you could fix. I am attempting to copy a FF profile from a Windows 11 machine I created it and am using it on to a brand new windows 11 machine on which I have also just installed FF on. Both machines are at FF 150.0.3. I have done a search online for the methods to do this but they have both failed for me.

The first one I tried was simply copying the profile from the existing (source) machine to the profile folder in the new machine however FF never recognized the copied profile on the new machine (I am using profile manager on both machines).

I then tried copying the profile using the method we used to use a while back to copy profiles which is to let profile manager create a new profile in the new machine, open FF so that it creates that new profile in the profiles folder then delete the contents of that profile leaving it as an empty profile (with the name of the newly created FF profile). Then, I selected and copied the *entire contents* of the source profile I was trying to copy and pasted them into the newly created profile I had just zero'ed out on the new machine so that the new profile now had the exact same contents as the source profile. I knew this copy was successful because it took a while to copy all of the data from the source profile to the new profile and the indicator showed it copying.

Again, FF did not recognize the new profile when I opened FF with the name of the new profile in the prof mgr.t.

Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what the problem may be? One problem I had when I first copied the source profile to my 32GB USB drive was a message saying "inbox folder is too big for destination system. " The source profile is 12.72 GB so there is plenty of room on the USB drive for it to fit. I have no idea why FF would have an inbox file so I just skipped it. The rest of the profile copied to completion once I did that but its size after copying was now only 7.65 GB, about 5 GB less than the original. Could this be my problem and if so, how do I fix it? Hello, a recurring problem that's been bothering me for several months is driving me crazy, causing me to use Firefox less and less.

I regularly get the dreaded message "Error: Platform version xxx is not compatible with xxxx," which seems to have been around for years and still hasn't been fixed. Rebooting, reinstalling, or repairing the installation with every automatic update isn't a solution; it's just a nuisance.

Since dawn of times I'm using Firefox with a search box in the center of my Home page for new tabs and windows. It is the most important tool in my life as a web content manager. A few years ago my searches suddenly started to jump to the URL bar as soon as I started typing. An URL bar is - as the says - for URL's and it sits way at the top of my 27" and 32" screens, where my focus is not.

Luckily, this forum saved me with the about:config setting browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar > false to save my life.

A few months ago this was broken by 148.something. After about a month in hell that was repaired with a dot release. And now (151.0.3, Windows 11) it's broken again:

In normal mode it still works as expected, but the search box is not in the center anymore, it has been moved up to about 300 px from the top. Fixed, independent from window size !?! If you make the window small it moves out sight eventually.

In Private Windows it is still in the center vertically, but browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar > false does not seem to work there. As soon as I start typing it jumps to the address bar.

The original post is one of the top search engine results, and provides a bandaid solution, without addressing the proper root cause, so I want to help whoever stumbles over this.

If I Google for a PDF and click a link, I get the Firefox download dialog. If I select "Open with Firefox [Developer Edition]", the following things happen:

   The PDF is downloaded to ~/Downloads
   The PDF is opened in a new tab, with that new tab's location bar holding a file:///... URL to the downloaded PDF 

What I would instead like to happen is:

   The PDF is downloaded to some temporary directory where I won't have to worry about deleting it manually
   In whatever tab the PDF is displayed in, the location bar contains the URL where the PDF was (temporarily!) downloaded from 

How can I achieve this?

Not having the URL where a PDF was opened from is very annoying when, for example, I open a bunch of PDF search results to read and review, and I later want to share links to some of those PDFs. Best I can do to find their URLs to give to others is then to try and remember which tab corresponds to which search result, or do mine the downloads tab.

Contrast this with Chrome: I click a Google result for a PDF and the PDF just opens in the current tab with the URL to the PDF in the location bar. No dialogs, no PDF files hanging around in my home directory, and I can just copy the URL to the PDF the same way I'd copy the URL to any web page.

Sigh. It appears the problem was one or both of the following preferences:

   pdfjs.enabledCache.state: false
   pdfjs.migrationVersion: 2 

I deleted both, and now clicking on a PDF just opens in the sane, normal way in Firefox that I desire.

Naturally I have no idea how those got set.

Hi, I use Firefox all of the time, and I noticed that the wallpapers were given an update of more choices for the user.

That's good and all, but I began thinking about the widgets that are optional when customizing your default Firefox home/new tab. Weather, shortcuts, and stories. All very simple, rudimentary uses, but nothing for fun, like, say, a little Firefox fox that can live at the bottom of your home browser!

Like something akin to a Pou or a Tamagotchi, With food and water on one side of the bottom of your home, bed in the middle, and a little hamster wheel for it to run on. You could click on it and it plays a little animation, or you can click and drag it to either activity previously mentioned and watch it interact.

I just think it'd be fun to have a more "silly" widget for customization on our home pages, while being entirely toggle-able like the other additions.

I just installed Firefox on my PC haven't had it on this computer since reinstalling windows - I imported my bookmarks and passwords from Edge, thinking it would be a seamless transition, since I used Firefox in the past without much trouble.

Two weeks on, about 95% of every page I open gives an error similar to the one below, and I have to shift+refresh several times to get it to reload before it goes away, (some sites still don't open).

I wonder how common this issue is, and how people fixed it?

I have a document that allows me to extend the page for supporting information. However when I move the up/down bar the original document moves but there is no way to move up/down the supporting page.
