how do i change my user name in firefox 3.6.3 [in windows xppro,sp3?

Go to the site that is asking for your username, click on the username field, then use the "down" arrow key to display a list of phrases you have entered. Keep pressing the arrow key until the username you want to delete is selected, then press the Del key

You may need to clear cookies from that website as well. Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Also USER NAMES on certain sites includig FIREFOX are not being stored in the browser. WHY IS THAT and how can EDIT them?
