We used to be able to see the size of add ons, now this feature is gone.

It used to show how big and extension was when you would look at that extension, like how many MB it is. Now that is gone and it is almost impossible to find out how much space the add on is taking. Most of these add ons don't have the information even on their websites. What gives? Can we bring this back please? These things are important to know!

If you view the extension on Firefox Addons, the More Information section gives the size. For example, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/ is 879.89 KB.

Yes that is great! However once you already have it installed, and you click on the add on, it doesn't show all that info and there isn't a good way to get to it except to search for it again. I guess it would just be nice if it showed that kind of stuff after you have it installed! I swear it used to! But I could be wrong. Thanks!

Hi jbunds,

For that question, you may want to ask in Discourse instead of this platform. I know the Add-on team is looking after that Discourse topic, so you can get an answer directly from their team.

Hope that helps!
