Whatsapp and other sites reload after some minutes of inactivity
Ok, there might exist a solution to this, but I am not able to find it or even a better way to explain it.
So, the main issue is, I have a lots of tabs open on my Firefox (Linux) and after some minutes of inactivity, Firefox automatically deletes all the data associated with that site.
So, when I switch back to that site, it reloads.
The main issue is with Whatsapp Web, as I don't get notification if I don't switch to the tab every now and then.
There might be a option for this behavior in the settings but I can't seem to find it.
Please help me find a solution.

Hello,
This is called tab unloading. It is used to ensure Firefox does not use too much of your RAM, and so that Firefox is less likely to crash due to running out of memory.
If you would like to make Firefox less likely to unload specific tabs, pin them.

But that's the thing, I have Whatsapp tab pinned, yet it displays the described behaviour.
It used to work fine before the last or the last to last update.

Firefox will detect if your computer's memory is running low, which is defined as lower than 400MB, and suspend unused tabs that you haven't used or looked at in a while. The new tab unload feature is controlled on the about:config page with a preference that you can set to false to disable this feature. Keep in mind that this makes you vulnerable to low memory issues.
- about:config => browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory = false
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
You can try Firefox from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution to see if it behaves differently.

Sorry for the late reply!
I'll probably not switch that condition, or my poor laptop will explode. I'll try looking in using Firefox from the official server thing.
