Firefox Homepage Tab
[Win 10] A few days ago something happened with Firefox. A message appeared saying "sorry - error". Anyway, I had to rebuild the whole thing. But, the little house symbol for the Homepage Tab is missing. It isn't even available where the choices for Menu Bar appear. I did not cause this problem. My older pc, also Win 10 is perfectly O.K. Any "Help" just brings me back to the older information from 2011.

Try to open the customize panel and drag&drop the Home button on your toolbar.
Note that in Firefox 87+ the Library and the Home button aren't present by default on the Navigation Toolbar and you need to drag them out of the Customize palette to the toolbar.
But it isn't IN the Customise!

Can you attach a screenshot of your customize window?

- use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- if missing items are in the Customize palette then drag them back from the Customize window to the toolbar
- if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette then click the Restore Defaults button in the Customize palette window to restore the default toolbar set.

God Almighty! Is it any wonder I rarely use Firefox?? Other than watching videos on YouTube, it's a pain in the a--- & not good for actual work. Where is the home page button? Is that so hard? I see "Support". Where is the column that shows the home page button? Why do I need to find it? To stop those stupid update notifications from popping up. Even dinosaur YT will let us turn off notifications in 1 quick step.
Boy, do I agree with weiserhancock or what! I've tried to make Firefox my default browser but I actually HATE it. It is NOT user-friendly in the least. Answers to questions are so long one forgets the question they asked, not to mention they don't make sense.
HOMEPAGE: Why is that so difficult to keep. One day I have it, the next day I don't. But can anyone explain it to me. NO!
Support, what support? If you could see my PC's screen maybe you would understand!
Screenshots are a waste if you cannot actually see the mechanism at work.
