.EML files opening is broken
L.S. Any saved file with .EML extension cannot be opened anymore using Thunderbird. When trying, Thunderbird opens a blank new message. As I have hundreds of mails saved this way, this is a real show stopper for me. Any help? Thanks in advance and keep up the excellent work! Jan OS: Win10 - Thunderbird 78.4.0 (32)

Instead of opening, what happens if you drag an eml from File Explorer and drop it onto a subfolder of Local Folders in TB?
First of all, correction: the file extension is .msg instead of .eml The icon for the file is the Thunderbird one... I tried dropping it in a local folder, nothing happens.
TB doesn't recognize msg files. See if changing the extension to eml works.
