I have one computer. I use Chrome for work stuff. I use Firefox for personal stuff. I installed the new Firefox as I was supposed to, and it closed all my tabs. I usually have the option to restore my previous session, but not this time. So I started going back through my history (grrrrr....) and my history is full of all the sites/tabs I visited with Chrome. I DO NOT want work stuff mixing with my personal stuff. Besides the fact that it is making it harder for me to restore my lost tabs, there is a reason I have two different browsers. I wish Firebox weren't trying to change my organizational scheme. I DO NOT WANT FIREFOX TO IMPORT HISTORY OR BOOKMARKS FROM CHROME. How do I turn this off?

I have tried all settings in Firefox to have a white background in Yahoo and Google, but the black background keeps appearing. I even copied my Firefox settings exactly from a different computer that has my preferred white background, but it didn't work. What other things should I look for besides Language & Appearance, Colors, Extensions and Themes?

today i ended up enabling notifications that appeared to be my hoa's website but was a rogue and fake virus software warning of viruses and wanting to update and renew license to remove them.. i get notifications every few seconds from them and had to diable notifications. i did send a note on the "broken link" tab to you guys..

its annoying and my malware bytes didn't catch either. it uses mozilla based to send the notification, i couldn't find a place to block the site.

Hello, i am wondering about the blocking of extensions on "Quarantined Domains".

Is there a list of them available to explore? Who maintains this list? Can some fishy website admin add his domain to it to block some 3rd party security addons? How can i whitelist a fishy extension on only 1 blocked site without losing the protection?

The faq articles are not really helpful for this.

Hello I finally got my email back but i have some questions i would like answered and fixed. if at all possible. First how do i remove the search bar at the top and also how do i remove the little alert that comes up on the bottom rright it is not the way i had it but id like it close if possible. Oh yes also when i am getting a phone chat from someone how do i make i t come up with i out hitting the attachment always one more and ill stop botering you i am just glad i finally got it back is there a way to get like a back and a forth arrow? I have been a Mozilla customer for some time now; no problems. All of a sudden when I select the Firefox icon I get Bing. I don't want Bing. How do I make it go away? DB

I've just resumed using Thunderbird, with a new installation on a new computer, after a long period of having only my ISP's web interface. I'm having a problem with adaptive junk filtering: it thinks everything is junk until I tell it otherwise.

By default, it leaves putative junk messages in the Inbox, but displays a yellow ribbon above a junk message's preview with "Learn more" and "Not junk" buttons. In this configuration, having it assume everything new is junk is just a nuisance.

But eventually I will finish training it, and I'll want it to move junk to the Junk folder automatically. Then this behavior will be a disaster.

Using made-up numbers to illustrate, suppose I get 1000 messages per day. Of these, 998 are from addresses it recognizes, so it knows that 993 of them are junk and 5 are legitimate, because I've received email from those addresses before, and I've told it what to do with them. That leaves 2 messages which may or may not be junk.

It should leave those messages in the Inbox, preferably with some kind of warning, and let me decide whether they are junk or not. Instead it's going to move them to Junk, and I'll never know I got them unless I review all 995 new messages in the Junk folder... which would defeat the whole point of having a junk filter.

Is there a way to make the junk filter default to "not junk" when it doesn't know? I've looked at the configuration dialog, and I don't see one.

Latest version (version above) on Android appears to have issues on startup of displaying shortcuts on the homepage. It doesn't initially display them, but if I select the private browsing symbol, then select it again to return to normal browsing, the shortcuts reappear. Then when I start Firefox later, having closed it down for a while, the same issue occurs.

Also, from not showing the homepage icons, clicking the '0' and clicking the '+' to add a new tab displays the icons.

Firefox used to start up and display the shortcuts without having to go through the above process.

I've tried various settings for the homepage but none resolve this.

Anyone having the same issue?

Last week the bookmarks button to bring on the sidebar disappeared from my toolbar. Browser and OS up to date. In my attempt to add it back I now see it has also been eliminated from the Customize palette. What gives?

Sometimes I want to change the color of a single sentence in an email I'm composing. I get the Color Selection from the menu, but the text color remains black. (I don't have this problem with any other software I use, including a couple of "ancient" software tools.)

Please advise.

How can I get rid of that pesky and annoying window that slides onto my display when I touch the left side of my display when I'm using Firefox? How can I let whoever is initially responsible for it know I think it stinks!

I went into setting and cleared cookies I have done this in the past because it was slowing down web sites this time it it said this site don't exist it's a live stream and i can't get it back i've refreshed logout and singed back in and still will not come up what do i have to do in your setting to get this site back

Hello Volunteers, Recently I've encountered some issues on adding apps such as WhatsApp and Telegram to my laptop's home screen. I've been trying to figure that out for the past hour. I'd really appreciate if you helped me with this issue as soon as possible.

Latest update 136.0.2 ruined all accesses like gmail, bank-sites, other (password) protected sites, even access to Firefox was not easy. Please fix issues back to previous 135 version.
