I can't install extensions anymore, when clicking on "install" button, the waiting icon keeps moving forever. I'm using firefox 115.20.0 esr 64 bit. Also tried in troubleshooting mode, no change. I've tried several verified extensions, and many that used to work fine precedently.

I accepted an update to my computer and immediately Firefox could not load, the exe file is missing. Again I use windows 7 . May have lost all passwords and bookmarks. Please advise.

I kept receiving notice for automatic update to esr version until yesterday 1-12-25, I believe it stated book marks would be automatically included. Now today I have to go in manually to get update but unknown of all by bookmarks will follow as well. My old version 109.1 64 bit. Thank you.

I upgraded my FireFox to the latest version 88.0 today, and noticed some changes on right click menu. In the old version, the keyboard shortcut key is a to copy a link, but now it was changed to L. That is really inconvenient. As you know, when you right click a link using the mouse, your right hand is still holding the mouse, and not easy to press the letter L on the keyboard.

The old menu option is "Copy Link Locaton", but the new one is "Copy Link".

Is it possible to customize the keyboard shortcut of right click menu, please?

Ever since Facebook started infesting the chats with end-to-end encryption (random chats get "Messenger upgraded the security of this chat. Messages and calls are secured with end-to-end encryption" without my permission or asking if I want this), any encrypted chats have audio and video calls disabled. I note that I have ONE friend for whom it didn't do this, I can still do calls with her. If I receive a call, I get a pop-up saying that to receive this call I must download the Messenger app (no way) or a browser which supports it. If I check what browsers it thinks supports this, it only lists Chrome and Edge. As far as I know Edge is just Internet Explorer renamed, the biggest black hole in security, I've never touched it. Chrome ignores industry standards, so I don't use it. Making Firefox the best, top browser available. It's the only browser I wish to use. Mozilla needs to look into how to get Facebook to stop blacklisting Firefox like this. Note that this E2EE garbage has only been infecting things for the last few months, before that I was perfectly able to do any calls I wished in Facebook Messenger.

Why did Firefox update my windows 7 system without my permission even though Updates were turned off due to using Windows 7 . Consequently important desktop weblinks were lost. But also importantly, I don't like this desktop version of firefox that I did not request. I use to be able to store frequently used web links in a far right column underneath the 3 hashmarks on the top right. Now these valuable links are LOST due to your updating without my permission...What options are open to restore those web links ?

Am I understanding that firefox will update without users permission though updates are turned off ? Please respond. Because, if firefox does not honor users wishes, how can we have any confidence in you ? Yes, I am upset that you over rode my setting that turned off updates due to using Windows 7. Is this your policy to ignore users wishes and settings without an explanation prior to forced windows updates ? Please Respond to the email listed below. 'Block Site' merely blocks access to a list of sites, but does not stop them appearing. is there a way to stop websites which use <gob.mx> in the address, which attempt to re-direct to 'mirror' sites that try to steal personal info and generate 'Illegal re-direct' warnings from anti-virus programs from appearing in firefox searches, automatically, rather than having to enter <XXXXXXX, -gob.mx> each time I search ?

Deleting autofill entries does not work per article. The info is still there. Clearing history does not work either. Do I need to restart computer for it to forget/delete entries? Thank you. Fred couvrette

Yesterday I was on the Newsmax website. Today Firefox says its not a secure connection and it won't let me go to Newmax.com. I then tried to use the google browser and it went right to Newmax.com no problem. I am using Windows 7 like I have been for years. Please help. Thanks, Al

After watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAfY_bNJTBI i went to https://www.cloudflare.com/ssl/encrypted-sni/ and did the test. Result is 3/4. (See screenshot below) Secure DNS, check DNSSEC, check TLS 1.3 check Enrypted SNI, fail In Firefox i tried doing exactly what the person did in the video but i dont have the settings he is showing in about:config Why is that? (Below you can see the screenshot, those settings are missing from about:config)

So my question reamins simple, how can i enable Enrypted SNI in Firefox?

When I am on espn.com/fantasy team pages everything loads correctly except for one popup table that does not. It will occasionally display but usually doesn't. When it fails to display, the scrollbar disappears but nothing shows. I tried clearing cache and cookies (Ctrl + F5, Settings + Clear data, etc.), refreshing firefox, and disabling all addons/extensions but the problem persists. I also tried turning off hardware acceleration and turned off proxies and secure DNS but nothing worked. I noticed this "_error.js" message in the debugger:

Hello. I installed the add on Tranquility Reader, found I did not like it, and uninstalled it. I have restarted my Firefox, as well as my PC, several times, but I still do not have graphics back like they were before. Am I missing something? Or has my whole system just gone on to another world??? So Aggravated! TIA Christie
