My computer updated with no warning one night, and i lost all personalization and even everything stored in my firefox, the sign ins, passwords, bookmarks, all. is there a way for me to find all that was erased?

in the firefox browser is there any way to see the casting the browser screen to chromecast on tv. similar to 'cast to media device' in edge browser or chrome browser.

For the past couple of months I have been getting the message www.bbc.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR when loading pages on www.bbc.com website. I have done a search on the internet and it seems this is a common problem with Firefox and does not affect othere browesers. I have done what was advice given online but it does not solve the problem. It is getting so bad I may have to start using one of the other browsers even though I prefare Firefox.

I am a single user of Firefox 123.0 (64 bit) on a Windows 11 desktop, Win 11 laptop, and Android phone. If I use Profile Manager to delete both of the the Profiles from my desktop ("default" and "default-release"), will that have any effect on my laptop or phone? Specifically, will I lose my passwords and bookmarks on all devices, or just the desktop?

Also, can I delete one of my two profiles? If so, which one? When I navigate to Users\Bill\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles, I see four folders:

Hi, I've upgraded to Windows 11 today and couldn't open Firefox since. Things I've already tried:

• Reinstall Firefox and delete all old files (Appdata & Program files)
• sfc /scannow and DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
• Windows compatibilty mode
• Firefox Troubleshoot mode won't open either
• ipconfig /release & /flushdns & /renew
• netsh int ip reset & netsh winsock reset

When opening Firefox in any way, i get a white window/just the window border which immediatly closes. When trying to start troubleshoot mode, the small window has the same issue.

I also checked the crashlogs and none were generated. The Windows event-logger also has no entries.

I have no idea what to do - send help please.

The layout on the Roblox website, https://www.roblox.com Has appeared to break, I've seen the website on Google chrome and Microsoft Edge and it's good to go. I am not aware as to how this has happened. I have disabled every Addon I have, This issue is not caused by the Addons I have installed.

I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. Am I doing something wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. text

i imported Firefox bookmarks to Firefox on another user account and i am not getting thumbnails! Both on bookmark's bar and inside bookmark browser :/

There used to be an extension called "IE Tab". It allowed you to right click on the link, and open the site in a tab, using Internet Explorer, for sites that didn't work properly in Firefox. I was wondering if anybody knows of any similar extension that would do the same for Edge? I can't open Twitter (X) using Firefox anymore, but I can open it using Edge. I don't like Edge (obviously), but I have no choice. Thanks in advance!!!

Please add support for progressive web apps to firefox, it is the only reason why I have stopped using firefox in preference of chrome. Without this feature, we can't use websites in split screen without the search bar area eating into the web page.

I want to convert a pdf file that I mistakenly had to generate when I deleted the original file. I want to convert the pdf sheet back to a Word doc so I can edit it.

my firefox youtube is broken, every time i close firefox, and open youtube, the comments and the sidabar wont load, until i clear my cookies and login. so that fixes it, but its not permanent. if i close or restart firefox, id have to repeat this process again. and yes, ive disabled all my extentions and cleared cache. and updated firefox.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 (20XY005MGE) with Win11 Pro.

All of a sudden, Firefox does not play any sound. I notice that it does not show up in the volume mixer. I tried:

• Uninstall and reinstall Firefox
• Deactivate all Extensions
• I worked my way through the manual pages (none of which mentions Firefox missing in the volume mixer)

Youtube does not play sounds, the Spotify page notices that it cannot play sound (the spotify App for Windows works fine, though). News sites (tagesschau.de / video, deutschlandfunk.de / audio) play the video, but no sound.

I had the problem a few months ago already but I cannot recall the solution :(

When I visit the web site virtueonline.org using Firefox browser, the Disqus comment section does not appear below articles on the site. Sometimes, when I go in and out of the article, the Disqus comment section will appear, but not always. When I use Microsoft Edge, the Disqus comment sections appear.

My old email keeps showing up when Firefox is trying to auto fill email. How do I change that in Firefox. Same with addresses, My mailing address is shown in many different ways, all variants of my actual address.

Also, I have some kind of browser hijacker (BING) that keeps directing me to Bing website. I have tried the standard procedures as outlined, bu t still BING often redirects my searches. I am also working with my anti-virus people to try to correct, but thought I would ask you as well. Here's where it took me when I searched for cookies (like you bake in the oven): "https://www.bing.com/search?ptag=ICO-86655dbd68d344bb&form=INCOH1&pc=1AWL&q=cookies"
