Hi,

I am trying to synchronise my web browser on my phone to my laptop, but when I try to do so using the QR code I get an error saying I need to use a Mozilla app to do it rather than my phone camera app (see attached)

I can’t find anywhere in my Firefox browser settings this app!

I have two separate Firefox accounts, with separate emails to log in and their own sets of bookmarks, passwords, etc. I want to merge all the data from both of those into a single profile of a single account under just one of the emails.

I'm pretty sure I've done this before, by: 1. Logging into account A and syncing. 2. Logging out of account A without deleting data. 3. Logging into account B and syncing. With the result that account B now contains all its original data plus all the data from account A.

But when I just tried to do this process now, at the point of logging in to account B I got the error "Account limit reached for this profile. This profile was previously synced to a different account. To keep your data organised and secure, each Firefox profile can only be synchronised to one account. To sign in using [account B], create a new profile."

I don't want to have separate profiles with the data from accounts A and B, I want it all merged into the same profile. How can I achieve this?

After the last update, I lost the toolbar bookmarks and passwords. After some time I was able to figure out how to sync them from my mobile. When I closed FF on my desktop, I lost the sync. Now I get an error when I try to sync. Your last update (using flawed AI, I presume) sucks and has rendered the browser I have used for years. I used your "help" page to recover once, but as soon as I closed the browser, it reverted to no bookmarks, no passwords. I don't want to use MS browsers because FF has served very well for years. Sorry but WTF are you thinking?

Everything is gone, I have had to reinstall windows 4 times in the last week with a new PC and now all my sync data is gone...Chrome remembers everything fine and Mozilla did remember everything until this install and now its not syncing anything.

If this stuff is gone so am I.

Have tried logging in with my google account, tried logging in with Moz account, tried sync button over and over tried restarting, tried uninstalling and reinstalling and manually deleting all the folders STILL NO SYNC DATA AT ALL.......

After using firefox for most of my life i am disappointed with the current service i am receiving. I have recently purchased a new laptop with windows 11 installed & no matter how many times i try my passwords are not being synced. I have imported them from my last device but the only password that is showing is the mozilla firefox account. Please help as i am constantly having to change my passwords as the previous ones are not shown. Thanks

I sent another help request on this subject but that too seems to have gone AWOL so I am trying again.

My passwords are being randomly wiped from my PC yet again but this time, although they are still on my Google Pixel 7 phone, Sync is not working for passwords. Strangely however, tabs are being synced.

I have tried every suggestion that I have found but syncing is just not happening.

To re-cap:- Passwords are not being synced from phone to PC Tabs are being synced between phone and PC.

Any suggestions?
