Hi. I have purchased a new laptop and am trying to import my firefox data from a previous laptop, the info is also available on my mobile. It isn't working and all the info that came across is jumbled and incomplete. In addition, when in sync mode and opening tabs in firefox, they crash. Could you please assist? Thank you

Hi, I'd love some help with this issue please. I have just bought a new Surface laptop and enabled sync from my desktop. But many of the bookmarks and none of the bookmark folders came across. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but with the same result. I have an old Surface laptop that the new one is replacing and the syncing has worked perfectly on that. I recently refreshed Firefox. When I re-opened the program, I was logged out. I successfully logged back in, but despite saying I'm "synced", none of my settings (themes, passwords, bookmarks, etc.) are showing up, even after waiting 30 minutes. Typically sync has taken a few seconds for me. FYI, this is on my work computer and I don't have administrator access, so I would prefer a solution (if possible) that does not require an uninstallation or installation (which I cannot do without contacting an administrator). I am trying to sync my iPhone to my laptop, but the app on iPhone just buffers. Ive tried several times and don't know what the problem is.

its a brand new iPhone 15 and my laptop is in good working order. I have internet connection so I'm lost. Please advise me when you have time.

My passwords are saved to my android phone, and home PC but I am trying to get them into my work PC and they will not show up. I had a master password turned on briefly but it was not functioning how I wanted it (enter the master password before it would put any of the other passwords in instead of once on start up). Now I turned the master password off, sync is turned on for both the android browser and the work pc, the phone has the passwords but the pc does not.

I synced my phone and my laptop and all of my bookmarks, some that I've had for years, are all gone. I used the same email but updated the password and now I don't have any of my bookmarks. My browser history for the past week or so is still intact. I just don't understand why my bookmarks are gone.

Hi guys, I have been using Firefox for a long time and most of the time, I use local backup, I have saved my bookmarks on my extended hard drive but about a year ago, I found out that Firefox has a "sync" feature and it's really great. I turned on the auto-sync of bookmarks and it work but this time, I reset Windows and I was really sure that I was syncing and I checked, I opened the Profile menu, clicked "Sync Now" and waited until the rolling logo stopped. After I reinstalled windows and reinstalled firefox, logged in but I don't see the backup bookmarks like before, I tried searching but couldn't find anything, just like a new firefox and new profile. Is there a way to find the lasted bookmarks I have synced? I often have thousands of tabs open so I have used this feature before but this is the first time Firefox hasn't shown my synced bookmarks.

I sync tabs with multiple devices, but I cannot get my tabs to sync with my iPad. I have tried scanning the QR code from my desktop browser. I have tried entering the password. The process never finishes on the iPad, even after the desktop browser said the process was complete.

Passwords not syncing on devices

I went through and updated all the passwords on my laptop. However, when I checked my phone and iPad, none of the deleted or updated passwords have synced. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the apps, logging in and out, and ensuring that password syncing is enabled, but the issue persists.

I would appreciate support on how to proceed. While I could manually update them again, it would be a time-consuming process when they should simply sync automatically.

Recently, I realized I haven't been logged into Firefox for the greater part of a year, and did so recently. I did so to sync my passwords with the cloud to restore in case something bad were to happen. Lo and behold, 2 days before doing this, my logins file corrupted. Attempting to open the .json in Firefox displays "unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data". This file is pretty sizeable at 105 KB, so the info is on there, but I clearly cannot access it. I've also tried simply deleting the .corrupt extension and restarting Firefox, but it just instantly re-corrupts. Is there anyway to get my data back? Any advice is appreciated.

Just used sync in the past month with no issues.

Logged into sync today, immediately after logging in, the error message "Session Expired -- Sorry something went wrong. Please sign out from the browser window and try again." See attachment to see exact error message.

This exact error message appeared on both my PC's when I tried to sync between them. Any thoughts on what is taking place or is there a know issue with Sync from Mozilla today?
