Вопрос, думаю, миллиона пользователей: вы когда-нибудь планируете за годы работы сделать так, что бы если ты закрыл основной браузер до закрытия безопасного режима, вкладки в обычном режиме НЕ закрывались?! Сделайте окно проверки, если не можете реализовать, что бы человек прочитал сообщение и НЕ закрыл обычный режим ДО закрытия безопасного? Почему другие то могут?

I am moving to a new laptop from my older one. I have tried to use Sync to bring over all of my original Settings to the newer machine. However, I can't seem to Sync my Location Permissions from the original machine to the newer one. Is there something special that I need to do to make this happen?

I'm trying to understand Profiles, especially since I am transitioning to a new laptop.

On my older machine, I have an Original Profile. Since I've never specifically created a profile, I assume that Original Profile contains my current Settings, Bookmarks, etc. Is that a correct assumption?

My new machine also has an Original Profile. Do I need to copy my Original Profile from my older machine to the newer machine? Should I rename the profile on the new machine or leave it as Original Profile?

Since the last upgrade I have lost ALL bookmarks, History, everything is gone, Passwords also

I tried loading the old profile god knows what it is called, and there's still nothing

WHY DOESN'T FIREFOX BACKUP EVERYTHING BEFORE FORCING CHANGES

TURNS ME OFF USING FIREFOX.

Just found that using Iolo System Mechanic to clean up my desktop is constantly causing the loss of my bookmarks and possibly my passwords. I have tried to specify which file(s) to ignore in System Mechanic to avoid this issue, but it is not allowing me to specify the files in my Appdata folders that I suspect it is clobbering. Has anyone been successful with this? I am getting tired of restoring my bookmark files every time I use the program. My wife's computer is having the same issue, and even worse in that she has also had her entire bookmark backup files wiped clean, which required her to re-enter all of her bookmarks manually. The folks at Iolo want me to pay for support before I can get any help from them.

I used Pocket for a while. It was excellent since it allowed taking a webpage and converting it to a document that could be copied and pasted to Microsoft word. This allowed further analysis and work on the contents of the page and was extremely useful.

Now that Pocket is gone is there another extension or a purchased extension that does the same thing on the present day Firefox.

I presently use Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Appreciate any suggestions.

I struggled some time with download links, no matter what filename I specified in the download="filename" attribute, the file I got was always download(1..n). Now I put all into one zip archive. I have a german and an english page, the link is:

. I can't see a difference except the language. But: the download of the german link comes as "download.zip". The one from the english one as "backup.zip". WHY???

Bonjour, lorsque je veux me connecter à ma boite mail Zimbra de Free un message indiquant "chargement en cours" s'affiche après avoir rentré mon identifiant et mot de passe mais rien ne se passe, la page indiquant se message reste fixe. Dear All, I recently reinstalled Windows and updated to the latest Firefox. When I tried to sign in to sync/restore my bookmarks, Firefox could not recognize my password. I reset it and used the new password, but the bookmarks that appeared were outdated, and not all information synced to my current account.Could you please advise on the steps (or a quick solution) to fix this?Many thanks for your support in advance.Kind regards, Tareq Zeyad

After upgrading to 149.0.2 (64-bit), when starting FF or opening an new tab, the preferred URL is not loaded. It is configured in Settings/Home/New Windows and Tabs All previuos FF versions were OK with the same URl (https://search.yahoo.com/web/advanced)

My security suite is Norton 360. I refreshed FF and would like to place (as before) an icon in the address bar (to the left of puzzle piece) for the password manager extension. The extension is installed. Please help.

My iMac automatically updated to the latest version of Firefox and now Firefox won't open at all. I keep getting an error message about installing a helper tool. I tried both installing the Helper Tool and canceling (see attached image) with no success. Please advise.
