I'm trying to get into chatgpt and canva. The browser tells me that i should delete a clooudfare block. I've tried disabling adblock and trying again. I've also tried to clear the cache, but that doesn't work either. What should I do?

Hello Firefox community, I use Firefox Desktop on two devices — one for work and one for personal use. I’d like to have different bookmark toolbars on each device, but they keep syncing and becoming identical. Is there a way to prevent this (without turning off Sync entirely)? Or is it simply not possible to use more than one Firefox Desktop setup with different bookmark toolbars under the same account? Many thanks! Eva

Is there a way for me to opt out of any new "AI" functionality/features that would otherwise be enabled by default? Like the tab suggestions and perplexity in search. Having AI shoved down my throat from every corner of the internet is kind of frustrating.

Every time I accidentally close Firefox I lose all my saved groups on reopening. I can see they are still there but cannot see how to open them. They are such a great innovation. Please make it easier to restore them from previous sessions. Going through a search history and restoring them one by one is hugely time consuming when they are already there and just inaccessible. btw, I tried using scrounger (via troubleshooting) but the "Save List" is greyed out.

Running on Mac OS 15.6.1

I want to avoid any 'ai assist' searches because I do not find their summaries accurate or valuable enough to be worth the environmental impact they consume. I know my web browser searches are not under the control of firefox, but for privacy and security I kill cookies when I end browsing sessions. So I am not staying logged in to search engines when I finish my sessions, and setting my preferences to 'no ai assist' on DDG doesn't last session to session because the search engine defaults to 'ai assist' searches now, as does google.

Are there any search engines that do not use ai?

Has anyone written an extension/add-on to FF that would add 'minus ai' to all my searches no matter what browser I use? Or otherwise indicate to search engines that I do not want ai-assisted summaries period?

We've got various privacy options built into FF--this is why it is my preference always--and it would be LOVELY to have a 'no ai' option too.

When I want to duplicate a tab, can I configure the 'duplicated' tab so it appears exactly next to the tab I'm duplicating instead of at the end of all the open tabs at the far right end of my browser? If I can't would it be too much of a bother to include that as an option we can configure? Maybe it's ridiculous or I'm using the interface wrong but it's super annoying to have to manually grab the duplicated tab and scoot it back next to the tab you duplicated from. Thanks!

I've been using the firefox broswer on a mac for the last couple years and I installed the duckduckgo search feature into firefox today, also firefox updated today when i turned my computer on so I'm not sure which one is the culprit but I lost all of my bookmarks and saved form data. Is there a way I can get my bookmarks back? I wasn't using an account or signed in ever but would that info be saved on my computer?

I am subscribint to TheHybridLayer.com and the video requires access to player.vimeo.com. Unfortunately, the pop up message is saying that "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue." Please help me address the issue since I overwhelmed with this.

Current situation : I am using Macbook Air 11" 2015, MacOS Catalina, Firefox 145

2 issues, first it asks me for my password over and over again until I am so angry I could scream! First my password but then oh surprise the password is wrong so I reset it and it asks for my recovery key so I go look for my recovery key and find it and copy then enter it and thats wrong. Then I look and I am fucking signed in any way! WHAT THE HELL! GOOGLE you make so much money and your destroying the planet with your tech so why can't you figure out this stupid shit already...COME ON!! 2nd, WHY ARE MY DOWNLOADS NOT GOING ONTO MY DOWNLOADS FOLDER! I am not a tech idiot!!! BTW I am an advanced user so if I am having a hard time it's because your software is garbage!!! Seriously I just need my downloads to download...That should be so easy!!! Same as password management...It should not be hard for you of all company's the least you could do for your users are these simple and small things! And if I could take a screenshot easily and download it and show you BELIEVE YOU ME I WOULD BUT I CAN'T FOR THE VERY REASON I AM PISSED OFF ABOUT! JUNK!! GOOGLE!! YOU ARE JUNK!!! And is what I read true, that you have volunteers working on this thread? Of course a multi-bazillion dollar company would be using volunteers to do the work...Who needs money but google right? To sign into Chatgbt I used my google account. Mozilla asks me "do I want to store info in persistent storage?" I click "learn more" about persistent storage. It takes me to a page that has zero mention of the words "persistent storage". That is a huge UX error. It says to me that really, you don't want me to know about persistent storage, and prefer that I remain confused and feel forced to agree to things I may not really want to, because you're making it difficult to understand what's actually involved. Not cool. Definitely now considering changing my browser after over 20 years.

The "Subject" pretty much describes my specific question. You will see an example in the screenshot I uploaded. When I increase the screen using comm + the type is too large & the video shrinks. ((although, somehow, the screen becomes smaller even though I'm enlarging it). Even with my reading glasses, I can't see 95% of the type.

I've poured through everything (i think) on the website, and I made some changes, but they didn't make a difference (other than getting rid of those miserable recommended videos on the side).

I have another question: Do I have to use a secondary email address: my Dept. of Ed. Outlook address, but I've just retired, and won't have access to it in about six months. I also don't want the DOE all up in my business: emails are legal documents forever & ever.

Lastly, the "Share Data" link says "the internal workings of your browser." What does that mean?
