Firefox does not retain email login addresses for Fastmail email webpage.

I have used Firefox and Fastmail for many years and this has never been a problem. When I opened Fastmail previously and placed my curser on the email address box I was always presented with a choice of three or four email addresses. However now I am only presented with the first email address I entered since the Fastmail/Firefox upgrades.

I have contacted Fastmail about this and they suggested it might be a Firefox issue

Firefox will not run on my desktop as it says its already running. I have uninstalled Firefox & reinstalled it with a fresh copy from the web but the problem persists. I open Task Manager & see Mozilla Firefox appears to be running: "Mozilla Firefox (3)". I end task which stops Firefox opening further but the same thing happens again when I try to open Firefox.

My PC is running Windows 11 fully updated as at today.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

I don't know what happened, I haven't been tinkering with anything. This happens for every video, not just this one. I've also posted my addons as well, in case that helps with anything.

I made no changes to Firefox. It just stopped working. If I click on the icon I get a momentary hour glass, the hour glass goes away, and Firefox never comes up.

If I try to open it as administrator, it comes up but will not accept any web addresses. I can type in a web address but is doesn't go to the site. The screen just stares at me and does nothing.

Both Edge and Chrome work just fine. I have used Firefox for many years. I love it but has just stopped working. I have reinstalled it several times and the same problem occurs.

Using windows 11 on a desktop PC. Firefox has been my default browser for decades...issues have been very rare. But this is a catastrophic problem. One of those folders contains links to equipment mfrs, the other one has links to dealers and retailers. In the last month TWO folders and all their contents have vanished from my bookmarks sidebar and cannot be found anywhere on my computer. I NEED those folders...Where did they go and how do I recover them ?????

Help to do that will be appreciated!

I switched back to release from nightly because the themes support completely broke rendering of menus, buttons, etc on various (read: pretty much every single one, including this one) websites, making them difficult or impossible to use. I've tried a browser refresh to no effect.

unfortunately, it appears the feature has been rolled out to release now as well, as pictured below.

I've tried cycling through themes, setting custom colors and forcing it to never replace the website's specified colors etc, turning off acceleration... none of it works. this is an issue on my desktop, laptop, and tablet (surface pro x), basically every platform I use except mobile.

any ideas how to fix this? it's really annoying and I'd really like to not hop browsers again, I've been using firefox for a good long while now.

So I've recently shifted from Chrome to Firefox and there's his specific touch pad gesture I set up on windows settings and it acts like media controls, but it seem to be unresponsive. Tried it with Chrome and VLC media player and it worked normally. Tried setting about:config; media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled but its already set to true.

OS Version: Windows 11 Home, 23H2 Firefox Version: 127.0.2

I have several virtual desktops: Desktop 1, 2, 3 and 4. Case 1: Assume that there is at least one opening Firefox window in any virtual desktop. And, if I try to open a new window in Desktop x (x = 1, ..., 4), it will appears in Desktop x as expected. Case 2: Assume that there are currently no opening Firefox windows in any virtual desktop. And, if I try to open a new window in Desktop 2 or 3 or 4, it will only appears in Desktop 1.

I've been experiencing a rather "unusual" issue: My Firefox up until version 116.0b8 worked perfectly fine; however, after any updates to versions beyond that, it stopped working.

I've tried the final versions and the betas, but nothing works. I attempted reinstallation and everything else, but I couldn't solve the mystery and remain stuck on version 116.0 beta 8.

What's happening? Every time I try to load a page on any version above 116.0, it either doesn't open or keeps loading in a loop. Yet, if I use another browser or revert to version 116, everything works correctly. This issue does not occurs in others machines.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Dear FireFox, I am writing this E-mail to address a critical issue. So i wanted to set up a password for my firefox browser so that only I can access it. i set a primary password, and it asks me to enter the password when i open my browser. However, when the message appears asking me to enter the password, you can just click "cancel" option or press 'x' it ignores the password and lets me in the browser, essentially rendering the purpose of the password useless. thus anyone can access my browser. i request you to fix this problem. am running firefox 127.0.1 on a windows 11 desktop. Numerous sites that use a captcha to login fail. In other words, the captcha never loads and I cannot login to those sites. Such sites include teamfaderpro, Coursera, and bandcamp. All logins fail as the captcha is required to be passed prior to logging in, but the captcha never appears and so when I try to log in, nothing happens and I cannot login.

I have tried the above same sites on the Edge browser and have no such issue, the captcha shows and I can login.

Just FYI, the agent switcher setting change recommended by others previously is not suitable. When I tried that fix I was unable to access a considerable percentage of the internet due to some cloudflare issue, so the agent switcher setting is not an option. So far, I have tried all recommended settings to fix this issue and nothing has worked.

I am surprised no one else is having this issue.

Any help is appreciated, or at least inform google/mozilla about this issue as it has been ongoing (on and off) for me for many months. And yes, this problem is persistent for me at the moment, it remains despite rebooting windows, despite clearing cookies and cache (which I have set to automatically delete when exiting firefox).

I'm having trouble find clear directions online on how to import Firefox Developer Edition into my Intune App Catalog to deploy it to users. I was able to convert the .exe installer into a .intunewin file but Intune won't import it for some reason. All the other directions i keep finding just direct me to creating a custom configuration policy around FireFox but it looks like it is just the basic Firefox for Enterprise.

I'm hoping to either get directed to actual directions for this or even a .msi installer for the developer edition. Does that exist?

I first mentioned this in r/Firefox, and was asked to re-post here.

My FF just updated to 127.0.1 even though I have "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" and told it to wait. This was on a Windows 11 box. Everything seemed fine, but then one of my tabs crashed. I selected the reload tab option, at which point it informed me it could not load the tab because a background update had happened and I was now required to restart Firefox.

I'm not certain what version of FF I was on, I believe it was either 126 or 126.0.1.

Now, to be completely fair, I cannot with 100% certainty say that I clicked on the update later option. That said, as I _did not want to update then_, and I have put off the update before, it seems unlikely I would have made the mistake, but I wasn't recording everything I did so I can't play it back and prove it. My initial reaction was to associate it with the tab crashing somehow, as everything was working as expected right up until that moment.

I transferred by Firefox bookmarks from my old computer to my new Windows 11 computer. I think they transferred fine. But to access them, I have to click on Bookmarks and then go down to Manage bookmarks and click on it. Then I see them on the page that has all the Import and Backup access on it. How do I get them to appear in the side panel as a list like they did on my old computer?

I have Windows 11, Firefox yahoo email. I must have clicked somewhere that consolidated all my email to the left in a narrow format. Can't locate where to correct it. Also had no luck attaching a screen shot. Next to the condensed email, is another column that is blank except for the white envelope. Is there a place where I can change the format? Thank you.

I want to change "browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once" preference to true. So I do it in about:config page and if I reaccess this page in another tab within the session, then my value is being kept.

However, when I restart Firefox (thru "Exit" in "File" menu), all previous pages get restored and that preference is "false" again in the config after a new browser start.

I also made a user.js file with the following content: // user_pref("browser.startup.couldRestoreSession.count", 0); user_pref("browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once",true);

Nothing helps.

Please let me know how I can modify the config file.

After masking them with my duck duck go service, I can't find the link to verify my emails. Where can I see any return responses using my mask email?

I can edit my short cuts. One I have added the Name, and the URl, I also have the option to add a custom picture to the square icon for the shortcut. It seems obvious to want, as I do, to "drag and drop" a photo of my choice from my personal collection. For example, when there are multiple shortcuts for the email of each person in the family, their individual photo is a great identifier. As things are now it seems I can only add another URL. I tried to add the URL from a family members Facebook page but it would not accept the link. Can some techno whizzz out there not make "drag and drop" an option? It would be REALLY useful for us all to have the photo of our choice, either a family person where appropriate, or a pet or whatever, or a friend. Thanks. Drag and DRop seems such such a common process now I cant think it would be difficult. Well....I wouldn't know where to start of course, but thats why this is a Help forum!
