But my issue is that its a desktop and i no longer have internet

then you'd have to download the extension from a location where you can access the internet (on the page right-click the +add to firefox button and choose save target as) and put the .xpi extension file onto a usb stick or another medium to get it to your desktop. there you can open the firefox addons manager and drag & drop the .xpi-file into it, so that the extension will be installed on the desktop...

You can copy the formhistory.sqlite file to your current computer via an USB stick to check out the content of the file.

You can use a separate profile or backup the formhistory.sqlite file in the current profile folder before replacing.

You can use the SQLite Manager extension in Firefox to inspect SQLite database files.
