I cannot see an icon for the adblocker plus icon I installed on Firefox

I installed adblocker plus - but cannot see any icon for it on the top taskbar. I closed and restarted Firefox three times, but still no Adblocker icon appears on my screen. Can anyone explain this, and help ?
