History clears daily despite hopefully correct settings. How can I get history NOT to clear?

History used to be saved for a long time. Now it clears daily. I have used the tools>options>privacy tab settings for Firefox to keep history and am not using private browsing.

I want to know how to SAVE history for as long as possible.

Maybe you have a security suite or "clean-up" program installed which is clearing your Firefox browsing history everyday.

Make sure that do not use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the "Browsing History".
