Which of these boxes are affected:

(1) URL bar (sometimes called the Awesomebar)

(2) Search box (usually defaults to Google search plugin)

(3) Home page search box

Have you looked for or disabled any add-ons that might be related to that toolbar?

Hi Imran411 - I would like to second Jscher2000. Could you let us know if his advice has helped?

Usually if a browser has been hijacked that is usually an indicator of spyware or malware intrusion. Have you tried running a scan for malware etc.? If this does not resolve the problem, you could try:

Running a deeper scan or scan with another software, such as Avast or AVG as these are free to use,

Repairing Firefox installation in Programs and features (control panel/programs/programs and features/Firefox) or

Restore your computer to an earlier point in time with system restore (control panel/system and security/system protection/system restore)

If all else fails, then you can uninstall and reinstall Firefox using programs and features.

I am trying to default search "google" in URL bar. But when i try to search in URL bar. It goes at mp3tubetoolbar , Please tell me solution of this.

You can check the keyword.URL pref on the about:config page.
You can modify the pref keyword.URL on the about:config page to use Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" or Google's "Browse By Name".

I just Follow this step About:config --> mp3tubetoolbar --> right click (one by one) --> reset .

Now My URL bar is work fine . But still there are two Prefrence Name of mp3tubetoolbar.

How can i remove that ?

If they show bold (user set) then right-click the pref and choose reset to reset them to an empty string value. If you close and restart Firefox then the pref will be removed from the about:config page.

The pref(s) may also be added by an extension (toolbar) and in that case you ned to uninstall (disable) that extension.
