Why has 6.o download changed fonts in my incoming emails?
Immediately after downloading Firefox 6.0 I noticed that the text of emails I was receiving had a different typeface being substituted, XPTechnos, the last font in my list. When I disabled it the next font (next to last) was substituted. Copy/paste text is not effected, and certain other emails are not effected. It is inconsistent. When I send a reply, it is not effected (text remains in Times Roman as specified). This is effecting old emails as well. When I select Safari as my browser and go into my email, the text is not effected, all is well. Up until now I have always used FireFox, but will change if this isn't fixed. I feel there is a setting I need to adjust or the like.
Aarrrgghhh!! I am SO frustrated. Since Firefox 6.0 jammed its way into my computer, I cannot compose emails in my favorite font of Comic San MS. In fact, ALL of my fonts in my gmail composing look entirely the same no matter which one I tick. I have tried every way possible to restore my font choices in gmail and absolutely cannot. How do I remedy this short of leaving gmail.com????????????
You can do a check for corrupted fonts and other font issues:
