Is Firefox going to do anything about Firefox 5 not being compatible with HP printers?

I was using Firefox and everything was fine then I downloaded the new Firefox 5 and now I cannot print either by clicking the print button or clicking print in the file menu. I have a HP Photosmart D110 printer. HP says that the printer is not compatible with Firefox. How can I fix this other then discontinue Firefox and go back to Internet Explorer?
