My dropdown menu has white fonts on a light grey background I want black fonts on a white background help me do this.....please

How can I change the coloring of the fonts and the background colors in the Firefox menu. It has a grey background with white lettering and I cannot see it really. How can I change it to a white background with black lettering. It is very frustrating. Someone has suggested I use Opera as my browser but I love Firefox!!!!! Help me please......
