firefox fails to load after computer startup. requires a re-boot.

This is an intermittent problem, I would say about 25% of the time after start-up, the firefox program does not load after using the desktop icon or the start menu to run the program. This is happening more frequently as time passes, and I dont think it was as frequent when I first started using firefox-maybe not at all.
