Now is there any possibility to restore my previous bookmarks in to the newly installed ff,if yes please furnish the detailed procedure.

My system got crashed after a power failure.. when i re stared it after power came.....it is showing me the blue dump/screen....so installed the win 2003 all together newly.before this using hirens boot CD copied some backup files including the "MOZILLA AND FIREFOX MOZILLA" folders from previous ff(before system crash)..

Now is there any possibility to restore my previous bookmarks in to the newly installed ff,if yes please furnish the detailed procedure.

Firefox stores the bookmarks in the profile folder, which is in a different location than the program files. You can copy the file containing the bookmarks, in addition you can recover other data such as passwords. For details see either of these articles:

thank you for the helping hand......but i tired as per the site but to my shock nothing brought my bookmarks back.so settled with a never forgetting lesson to take backup daily without fail and mail it to personal id...also added the addon "febe"
