Thunderbird not accessible
Suddenly when I open Thunderbird it does not appear. Instead there is something with an octopus icon asking me to set up a new account. I have had an account and have donated for a long time. What is happening? All my folders are gone!
Suddenly when I open Thunderbird it does not appear. Instead there is something with an octopus icon asking me to set up a new account. I have had an account and have donated for a long time. What is happening? All my folders are gone!

Sometimes, when thunderbird updates, it creates a fresh profile, but the old profile should still be there. try clicking help>troubleshootinginformation, scroll down to 'profiles' and click 'about:profiles' and your old profile may appear.
