Every page i go to, whether it's a login page or simply a page where i have an account but just doing research, like reddit, walmart, forbes.com etc. prompts me to sign in with google. I though firefox was storing all my passwords?

Hi

This is not "in" Firefox, but is something added by websites to make signing into their sites easier if you have a Google account.

I figured it had something to do with tracking cookies or something like that. I was thinking more along the lines of if I ever used the browser to sign into a Gmail account but I guess there's no way around this? I can't even get the pop up blockers to block the prompt

Yeah, this is not a browser issue, but a Google issue. Some have tried Ublock to block the prompt. This has been going on for a few years now, nothing new.

Funny thing, the same website on another browser does NOT have the google sign in pop-up.
