Problem loading pages

Problem loading page error for certain websites including AOL.com, Google.com, and my virus software Vipre.com. Others load fine. Message is:

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, cleared the cache, all to no avail. Please advise.

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connection certificates and send their own.
