Pocket saved articles not syncing with New Tab Page

I am trying to get my saved Pocket articles to appear on the New Tab page.

As the first screenshot shows, I have selected "Highlights -> Pages Saved to Pocket" in the settings for the New Tab Page.

As the second screenshot shows, I have saved articles in Pocket. In addition, although it is not visible, I am logged into Pocket with my Firefox account.

In about:config, I have extensions.pocket.enabled set to "true" (third screenshot).

Despite this, as can be seen in the fourth screenshot, in the New Tab page, my Highlights section is empty.

Any idea how to resolve this?
