I have just installed Mozilla VPN on my Windows 10 PC and Android 10 Smart phone and have one annoying problem. I use Microsoft Your Phone on my PC and cannot see my Phone Screen with the VPN turned on - message is 'Connect to the same WiFi'. However i am able to see / use Notifications, Messages, Photos & Calls without problem. Local Network Access is ticked but I can't see any other setting to get round this issues.

Is local access ticked on both devices?

I know sometimes android thinks you aren't on wifi when connected to the VPN, which might also explain this.

Hi Eve Local SettingsAccess is ticked on the W10 device but as far as i can see there is no option in Android 10 (it's a Samsung Galaxy S20 5G device) equivalent to the the Network Settings / Local Settings Access on the PC. Unless you know different?

Ah I forgot that it isn't an option on Android. I know there's split tunneling where you can have certain apps ignore the VPN on android but this sounds like an overall issue that can't be resolved that way, depending on how the screen share works I suppose.

Thanks Eve, that's where i ended up. It's not a showstopper but a tad annoying (i much prefer to type on my PC). What now - wait for a fix / update? bill
