I did not request download link for Firefox Focus, why did I receive email?
I rec'd email 1/2 hour ago, stating: "Thanks for asking for info to download Firefox Focus onto your mobile device. We hope you’re enjoying the Firefox experience that’s been made just for you, not for profit." I did not request anything. I do not want to download Firefox Focus. I do not even know what it is!

Possibly you tapped something in Firefox accidentally that generated it -- one of the little snippets that promotes other Mozilla software, maybe? -- otherwise, I have no idea.
If you get more of them, or if you want to avoid all promotional emails, check the subscription settings on your Firefox Account:
