cant install java because firefox installed

I'm trying to reinstall my graphics drivers (nvidia) to be able to record game play. The graphics installer says I need Java. Java wont install because I have Mozilla Firefox as my browser and you don't use Java or something like that. Have removed Java. I want to know if there is something I can do without having to find a new browser because I've used Firefox for several years now and am kinda attached.

trying to record Mass Effect Andromeda using Bandicam when i try to replay recording i get an error message I play through Origin and they are the only thing that has updated need to uninstall drivers and reinstall i don't have Java which I need to install java wont install because of Firefox is there any way i can get java without deleting Firefox?

A key point here is are you using Firefox to play the games. If so it will not install the plugin for Java but your system will install Java. Go to java.com Modern Nvidia and AMD GPUs have their own native recording software which should not require Java.

As this is well known that all to most browsers do not support java plugins any longer you should first visit your Andromeda and Bandicam sites as well as their Community Forums to find out current requirements as well as update those programs.
