After updating to 85.0.1 in 06/02/2021 and 85.0.2 at 12.02.2021 my system crashed and Firefox was rebooted. I lost more than 85 or so tabs I had open where not restored, and Firefox/Mozilla when rebooted loaded an older version and opened older tabs from dec.2020. How can I find the tabs I’ve had opened in Jan and Feb 2021. In session backup I’ve searched and don’t find what I want. Is there other place where to look.

Why doesn't Shift + Delete delete a bookmark from a searchbar? Here is a simple example: Example of deleting history/bookmark

It works like a charm for history items but not for bookmarks. How to fix it? Maybe some options must be turned on? Since it is possible for deleting history items why it's not possible for bookmarks? Maybe you know any extension with this functionality?

So, I accidentally clicked a link that takes me to a site I have never logged into. Firefox prompts me with 3 userids. One is more or less a throwaway, but two are for sites I want to be secure.

I have disabled the form history in options. I have selected each item and tried either delete or shift-delete. None of these options work.

The site continues to present me with 3 userid options.

I hope this is not a major security threat since I am the only user on this computer and the site is one I have never visited, but it worries me nonetheless that I cannot remove the Firefox suggestions.

My extensive collection of bookmarks are organized into folders. How can I enter a bookmark into more than one folder? In searching, I see that others have been unsuccessful in finding an answer to this simple task. Although "copy" is a context option, the bookmark will not paste into a second folder. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My dad did somethink with Avast antivirus(at least he said so) and after that we have no search engine available. If you try to type something in a serch bar you can only open direct links. Default search engine button in the settings does not respond and even following instructions on the site I can't add new search engines. Tried Google, YouTube and DuckDuckGo but to no avail. There is just no option to add new search engine.

P.S. Don't know how to reach russian-speaking support, so screenshots are in russian with some explanations on top.

So, how to say this and not to fail into rage.... Mozilla account failed to save my account information. All log ins, all bookmarks and saved pages, everything is lost. I needed to reinstall the OS on my laptop and after reinstalling Mozilla and logging in to my Mozilla account I realized that nothing from my data has been saved. How is it possible that the only thing I used the Mozilla account for failed to work when I needed it the most? Is it possible to access the data and how?

Refreshed firefox because youtube loaded in at 280%. Someone said it might be corrupt. I Refreshed and all my passwords are gone and everything else. There is no folder on my desktop with the old info in it. Where is it. There is one old folder from 2018 I never used because at the time I didn't understand what to do. But now I can't get into my firefox account and don't want to rest my password yet because it says everything will be wiped out. This is ridiculous and too complicated. Had I knowed I wouldn't have done it. I have been able to get some things back like favorite sites, but gosh, all my passwords, nuts.

Since few Firefox versions I am constantly asked if I want to allow Firefox to open link in external program. For example if you click install on steam page it asks you if you want to launch steam. However in private tabs it asks constantly even if I click "remember". Is there any setting in about:config that would allow me to always allow every site to open links? All of a sudden Firefox 84.0.2 has stopped showing videos on any web site, including Twitter. It doesn't show GIFs either. (Photos are fine.) All one can see is a green screen.

NOTE: I have made ZERO changes to Firefox's settings, ZERO changes to my computer (it has been on continuously since last night when everything was working fine). It simply started happening today.

I have checked several of the web sites in Chrome and they work just fine.

I cleared the cache, but that didn't help. Any ideas?

I want to delete some bookmarks and a folder or two. I followed the instructions in the Help about How Do I Delete A Bookmark, but nothing happens, they just stay there. So, please don't tell me to go back to that page, I've done it MANY times now. There's getting to be so many obsolete bookmarks it's a mess.

When I receive an email, I would like a 'Save As' option, but this seems to only be availabe with Internet Explorer. I would like to save my attachments from a received email where I would like them to go, rather than being forced to save to 'Downloads' and then then relocate the file to where I want it!

When watching videos on Disneyplus.com the memory for each episode gets stacked and never cleared when binge watching. After some episodes it blows up to multiple GBs and I have to restart firefox to get it down again.
