I have configurated my printers by system but the new update when I want to print uses another configuration that produces problems to me and for each sheet I have to change it. How can change the default printer configuration of firefox and not being changing tu use windows comfiguration for each work? Is very bad and makes me ungry that another person in a configuration changes that I need whothout advise or tu his preferences that complicaters my life

This border appeared recently (weeks?) around three sides of the Windows Firefox Desktop version. It is annoying. Does not respond to any recommended fixes I have found on the same issue. Tried safe mode. Tried moving the task bar. Tried changing enlargement percentage. Tried rebooting after all of the above. Nothing working. Can't find a switch anywhere.

I frequently download excel worksheet files in the format of .xlsx The extension is not found in the Firefox options-files and applications-applications content type. It is not an option to choose this to save the file in a particular location--see attached screen shot. If it is under another name please let me know. There is an option to download excel worksheet files--only 97-2003, xlsx is an Excel 2016 worksheet. Why isnt this updated with the latest version of Firefox: 85.0.2 which I am using? Even if I select 'use excel 2016 (default)'--screen shot 2/ it does not have the option to remember where to save the file--only to open with or save, like the option for other files.--screenshot 3.

I just want it to always save to desktop.

Some days ago my Firefox automatically updated to version 80.0 and with that came an annoying white outline to my windows.

Whenever I full-screen my browser window there are white borders on the sides and bottom, a few millimetres wide. The only way to make them disappear is to scale the window down to about 50% of my screen resolution. This is especially annoying because I enjoy my dark themed Firefox. Below I have added a link to the image.

Safe Mode did not make it disappear, refreshing Firefox did not make it disappear, disabling extensions did not make it disappear. Any help is welcome.

I have Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird on my 'work' laptop. Firefox keeps asking for me to link other accounts. I have a personal aol email address. However, when I enter to sync my personal email with my work email, it says, 'Account Already Exists'. Yes, it exists since it is mine!

How do I get this fixed?

I have been using Firefox for many years now and it uses Google, but for the past week or so when I have typed in my search it automatically switches it to BING search. I have checked all my settings and programs but BING is not listed, so why the automatic change over, and how can I fix the problem?

FredMcD replied to my Bing problem with Firefox, but sadly despite trying several ways as soon as I click on add-on my page just goes blank.

Tools add-on same blank page, same with Firefox page click on the three lines scroll down to add on blank screen comes up.

When I googled this problem there were several videos that stated it was a virus, I have Malwarebytes premium so I have also contacted them for their assistance. Bing or any other of the sites listed SafeSearch etc. none are listed in my files list so nothing to delete.

Is it worth deleting Firefox and then next day download it fresh, or is the bad add-on just lurking ready to attach itself again.

Ive got a prblem with the borders of the browser. As on the picture there are whit borders, also in full screen.

Can somebody help to remove the borders, so the browser can be real full screen?

What's this I hear about Firefox having privacy issues ? Have recently read on a forum that Firefox posters are at risk for our privacy being lost. I'm surprised ! And wondering what's up. Give us a heads up, please ! What happens now ?

I just updated from 55 to 84. Immediately the video driver started crashing. After three crashes, the video driver bans Firefox from using video equipment. It still works but the CPU usage in YouTube is up and the fan is spinning all the time, which it didn't do before the update. I reinstalled video card driver. I reinstalled video accelerator driver. I reinstalled the damn firefox too and then I did a clean installation. NOTHING works. Any advice? Or is it yet another "unexplained" problem that will never be solved?

After an Update Not sure which, the edges became transparent and shows the background while maximized and updating it more doesn't fix it, (Note: i will not use refresh Firefox again since it didn't help)
