This happened very suddenly, and in firefox as well as opera browser. Video files and GIFs display as moving vertical colored lines, like aurora borealis. This only applies to files embedded in mails, messenger or social sites, not sites like youtube - those play just fine. Video and GIF files saved in my desktop are fine as well. Issue arose about a week ago, I am stumped! Any suggestions?

Hi everybody... My browser is QWANT (and not Google) , I hv been using it for years with FIREFOX...and it is supposed to be my browser "par default", since 2 days I can't hv any answer when I make a reqsuest. It just says "check yr connexion or try again". But everything is working fine otherwise...Do you hv any idea what the problem is ? thks a lot for yr help...Dana

I am running into an odd issue and I am stumped on what to try next. As you can see in the attached images, I am running into a problem with select dropdowns. The first dropdown is from https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-400/ (Buy Now and click country) and the second is from this Mozilla support page. Long story short is dropdowns are messed up in my default profile. I have done the following to attempt to troubleshoot the issue -

1) Restart Firefox in Safe-Mode without addons 2) Refresh Firefox 3) Delete the Firefox user directory 4) Create a brand new profile and launch into the new profile (This works but for some reason but it can't be my default profile) Default profile fails to work but others don't. If I set my newly created profile as the default, then the new default profile doesn't work. Odd.

Anyway, if anyone has any insight on fixing this issue then it would be great. The dropdowns have been broken for a few months but I have just dealt with them. Thank you for any help over the topic.

Today, when I go to print out a web page, the format of the Print Preview window has changed and the"Simplify Page" option is missing. I use this feature all the time. Without it many pages are impossible to print. How can I restore this feature?

I have looked high and low for information on this in FF tutorials and through google and have found no answer My wife's Windows PC somehow lost these two commands from the 'file' section of the page

When I bring up Firefox, the screen always says "This file cannot be found, etc." Is this normal? This is always the first page. What do I do, if anything? I have to hit new tab+ to get the home page.

I seem to have a hidden Folder. I've been putting emails into a named folder but it doesn't appear on my list of folders. But when I do a search for specific emails it turns them up. Can folders be hidden, and how can I find and unhide it?

Hi FF support team. I got an issue about my webcam. I used Astro HD webcam but when I tried video call on facebook, or any website need access webcam permission, my webcam can't open. I allowed website to access my webcam, but nothing happens. I tried reinsall, reset Firefox, install lower version, enable auto play in about:config...but no lucky. But when I tried on Chrome, my webcam is working fine. I tried use my webcam on linux (Pop! OS) with the same version of FIrefox and my webcam is working fine. I tried reinstall my webcam driver on my Windows, but still not working on Firefox ( Chrome or any browser chronium's based, they're working fine with my webcam). I don't know why. Please help me! Hello. Firefox quickly takes up all the space on the SSD. After about two days of work, there is no disk space left. Closing the browser helps, but it's not comfortable. Windows 10 system.

Most current Firefox hangs and will not open Youtube from email links or from direct entry into the address field. Microsoft edge has no problem but Firefox is my default browser. Prior to the last Firefox update I installed a Firefox add on that allowed me to download Youtube videos, however it was not installed by the last Firefox update. Firefox has no problem opening and playing Bitchute video's. Can anyone help ?

This is my first post here so let me know if I did anything wrong.

So my problem is: my camera has been undetected by Firefox for a while now, without any change in the use of my browser. I've wanted to use it on Google Duo, on an online classes website, on a website where you can use your camera to try on glasses before ordering, and nothing... The latter was my last attempt and the only message I got from the website was "your camera is not detected". I really have no idea where to check for anything wrong on this topic, it works perfectly on other software (like Discord), so I guess it does not come from the camera itself. I checked the authorizations in Firefox, nothing special there either.

Any idea and/or tips for this kind of troubleshooting?

Every time i try to do a screen capture video in Canvas Studio while using MFF it ask me to download the screen recorder software.

I love MFF but I can only get Google Chrome to work.

Any ideas?

I have disabled autoplay in my preferences for all websites, but some videos on some websites still autoplay. (This is under Preferences / Privacy and Security / Autoplay. Under "Default for all Websites", it is set to Block Audio and Video.) How is it that some websites are able to get around this? Is there a way to defeat them?

When sending email messages to my HP officejet pro 8720 I find that it prints Firefo" instead of Firefox and it omits the letter y so words like flyer are fler. Other places on screen where font is another size the letter y does print.

Please help me, I also installed Windows7 and Windows10 on my computer At Wndows10, (64), when I wanted to open Firefox, I was forced to create a profile (please excuse me, I don't even know what a profile is) and either I wrote there or I didn't write anything. Firefox opened. After several attempts it opened, to see that all my bookmarks were deleted. If I knew, let me be saved! I had important addresses there. Please tell me how I can recover them. Post script: I don't speak English and I have to translate with Google translate, Thanks for understanding.

Printing a pdf file using Adobe allows you to select to Print the page as Actual Size, verses Fit or Shrink. I need Actual Size to print onto Card Stock that has preprinted info. Now pdf files can open in the Firefox Browser, but Actual Size is not an option of the Print Window.

Any ideas to Print Actual Size using Firefox Browser?
