Updating to Firefox 71.0 was a catastrophe. I lost all my open tags though RESTORE PREVIOUS SESSION was enabled. I had quite a while, till I figured out how Firefox really does restore previous sessions. The lost tabs though were gone.
But one problem is remaining. I can not restore closed tabs with 71.0. Ctrl+shift+T does not work anymore.
How can I enable it again Or is there a new combination for it

NPAPI flash plugin not loading

Today I noticed that my custom plugins are no longer working. I decided to try and re-install flash. I removed the plugins from the directory manually then started again. I downloaded the NPAPI version from adobe (pictured). I then extracted the files and copied the plugin (libflashplayer.so) to firefox's plugin path ($MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH, which for me was /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins). I then restarted firefox. However, the shockwave flash plugin is not present in the plugins tab. This is odd as it was a couple of days ago before I redid this. Sites like newgrounds worked perfectly. Back when flash was working, I noticed on some sites that used html5, it would instead try to use flash. For a whille, the openh264 was stuck on "will be installed shortly." Now when I go to those sites, it will show the thumbnail, but not play. Youtube videos still work, however. In fact, it's really the only video site that still works. Was there a dramatic change in the past couple of days or something? I didn't even update firefox myself, this happened seemingly out of nowhere. Recently I bought a new PC, installed Firefox on it, logged in with my account and synced all of my bookmarks and add-ons, etc My wife is now working on my old PC, therefore I removed all old programs and installed just the basic stuff she always uses. She's also created her own account after installing the latest version of Firefox. I didn't rename the computer, only her Windows useraccount. Also created a new profile, that doesn't help either because bookmarks keep getting synced between two different accounts each on a different PC and I don't seem to get it right. Looked at the different devices that should sync under each account, that seems to be OK. But everytime I make a change in the bookmarks on one of the PC's with it's own account the other one also gets changed under that different account. Can someone help me by taking it step by step, so I can understand what it is I am doing wrong?

Hello. In my bookmarks library I have a lot of folders organized in a tree with multiple branches themselves organized in hierarchic levels. Sometimes I don't find the bookmark I want to use by browsing my tree, probably because I didn't put it in the right location in the tree. I can find it by the "Search bookmarks" function but this function doesn't provide the bookmark location in the tree (and I don't see any other way to locate it). Thus I can't correct the bookmark location error in the tree.
Is there a way to locate a bookmark in library folders tree ?

I noticed that firefox lately hides more specific options from the character encoding settings.
For example, it now has only one option for Japanese: "Japanese". It should contain encodings such as Shift-JIS, euc-JP, etc.. I want to, and I used to be able to, specify which of the encodings I need.
The auto detection really often messes it up, and this is a huge problem when browsing old-fashioned websites.
Is there any way I can specify the encoding manually? I'm OK with digging into about:config, or even use the developer tools if necessary (for an emergency measure).

Using the same WebGL demo, I get 10 Frames Per Second on Firefox and 45 Frames Per Second on Chrome? Any ideas what the issue is with WebGL and Ubuntu Firefox and how to fix it? Let me know, thanks!
