I'm running a brand new install of Debian. Initially the install comes with Firefox version 68.7.0 ESR. After setting up my Firefox preferences, I tried installing uBlock origin. The install seemed to go fine, but I noticed that the uBlock button does not appear to the right of the address bar by the bookmarks/sidebars/firefox account buttons. I went on Youtube to check to see if it was actually blocking ads and it is not blocking. When I open the addons page to check if it is there (Tools > Addons) it shows uBlock origin as an enabled addon.

I opened synaptic to see if there is an upgrade version available and saw that there was (Version 68.8.0 ESR). I went ahead and installed the upgrade, but there is no improvement, still seeing ads on Youtube. I removed it and reinstalled, but also no improvement. I've been searching google for answers but other than references to the issues last year with addons being broken I am not finding anything helpful.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Your help is appreciated.

Hi Team,

We are facing issue while exporting documents from our portal which is embedded into an iframe of some external portal.

We see the following error in the console :

Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at blob:https://abc.def.com/1gg3810-ae25-42ae-ghghb-123456789 (“frame-src”).

This issue comes only in firefox. We are able to export documents in other browsers. We think that the problem comes due to the portal is embedded into an iframe. when we execute the download URL in a separate tab, it allows to download the document.

We are using below CSP policy :

default-src * blob: 'self' 'unsafe-eval' 'unsafe-inline'; font-src * data:; img-src * data:; frame-src * blob: data: 'self'; object-src *

Thanks

Crash at startup if Firefox not properly quit before shutdown Debian Buster

Hello,

One of my last Crash ID report : 49e3c347-5deb-4659-b9d1-281b00200514

I experiment this problem on two of my computers. Both are running Debian Buster. If I don't forget to quit Firefox before shutting down my computer, then I believe I won't have problem the next time I switch on my computer and launch Firefox.

However, as most of the time, if I shutdown my computer with Firefox still being open, it seems that Debian Buster doesn't close properly Firefox. In fact, if Firefox was still open when I switch off my computer, I can be sure (100% of the time) that at the next startup, Firefox won't be able to launch the previous session and I'll have to "restore my last tabs".

No other software seem to suffer from the way Debian Buster switch off. Only Firefox.

Thank you for any help one could give me,

Regards, Thatoo
