Whenever i click on a link that uses redirection Firefox opens nothing - when i right click open link in new tab firefox gives me a redirection notice and the choice to open the link. i tried some solution from other questions:

1. There is no setting in preferences that fixes the problem (removed in my version)

2. I tried the config option blockautorefresh but it was already false (i tried toggle it back and forth nothing changed)

3. I tried a solution in the config area there is an option that brings the old preferences layout back but in my case this option is missing.

i would appreciate any help.

in the newest Update Mozilla removed the description field for bookmarks.

why did they do that? How can I use those information about the favorites in the future?

Login for Gmail long-in NEXT button no longer responsive after installing latest Firefox 62. I usually have gmail account set to always be logged in. I signed out then attempted to sign back in. I typed in my username and click NEXT but this button is NOT responding anymore. So now I can't log into gmail with Firefox 62 on iMac.

I tried to open a “private” window in Firefox (first time using this) and the NEXT button in Gmail works and allows me to log in (I can see the indicator scroll and everything functions) , but in standard browser this button is unresponsive. I tried changing tracking, pop ups, added exceptions to gmail …. nothing fixes the issue. I cleared all my cookies, clear cache (now I have to re-authorize or re-validate my computer for all my banking & credit card access for payments, and everything, etc … big pain in the ass … thanks Firefox) . Why does NEXT button (or these controls) only work in private window but not in standard ?????? I also noticed recently that some other sites have had dome buttons that aren’t recognized after clicking.

iMac with Sierra 10.12.6 32gb ram, worked perfectly until I logged out and needed to log back in.

I just refreshed my FF browser and now, every time I open the FF browser in Windows 7, I get this irritating info bar at the bottom. It's like a pop up ad and I want it gone! Here is what it said last time: "Your browser is ready for a makeover. Don’t worry, you’ve got tons of options. Check them out here." I can't find any options to get rid of it and, when I "X" it out, it comes right back when I open another window. Thanks...

При сохранении страницы в закладки с помощью CRTL+D отображается частичный скриншот сохраняемой страницы на развороте с настройками закладки. Экран моего нетбука невелик и если в настройках сохраняемой закладки развернуть список папок для выбора, то кнопки "Готово" и "Отмена" уходят за нижний край экрана. В этой ситуации очень неудобно сохранять закладки. И, на мой взгляд, этот урезаный скриншот сохраняемой страницы абсолютно бессмыленный и бесполезный. Подскажите, пожалуйста, можно ли как-то отключить его показ?

I no longer have access to the email address i used to set up my firefox account. there is provision to add a secondary email address then convert this to the primary email address but this needs to be verified through the primary email address ( that i no longer have access to ?)

On most occasions, when I visit my on line bank account, I find the information displayed incorrectly; also many services, which are selectable, are missing.

The attached image (with account identification and personal information removed), was taken using MS Edge, shows the opening page, as it should appear.

When I open my account, using the latest version of Firefox, I find that all four of my accounts show the transactions, as if the "Down Arrow" has been clicked - But there is no "Down Arrow" visible with Firefox (To set, or Reset).

Furthermore, with the accounts open, showing the transactions, there should be additional "Down Arrows" to show pending transactions (ones that have not yet been processed) - These "Down Arrows" are not present, either.

I have entered Privacy & Security and selected:-

(1) Accept cookies and site data from web sites (recommended)

(2) Listed my Bank web link details in Exceptions to "Allow" ( I have tried all of the other options, too)

(3) Accept cookies and site data from web sites (recommended) - Set to Always - ( I have tried all of the other options, too)

(4) Selected Never, for Tracking Protection - ( I have tried all of the other options, too)

(5) Selected Only when using Tracking Protection, in the Send web sites a “Do Not Track” signal that you don’t want to be tracked, option - - ( I have tried all of the other options, too)

(6) Listed my Bank web link details in Exceptions to "Allow" ( I have tried all of the other options, too), in Block pop-up windows.

(7) Listed my Bank web link details in Exceptions to "Allow" ( I have tried all of the other options, too), in Warn you when web sites try to install add-ons

None of these issues arise with Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or MS Edge - All work perfectly, with the default setting.

Appreciate any thoughts on this matter

The bookmarks drop-down drops below my screen and i'm unable to access the buttons below which are needed to create a new folder to add that bookmark to. I have attached a screenshot image to look at.

Why is there no option to block a website from playing media e.g. mp4 See Image attached. I wouldn't mind an option to render a website useless either. In Page Info - Permissions, there is clearly no way I do this, other than block cookies or block IMAGES or stop videos from playing sound, but thats useless it doesn't stop the video itself

Any solutions ? i tried some addons but they're really not cutting it.

I'm updated to v62.0.3, and have autoupdating enabled.

However, the last few updates (apparently) have reset something regarding PDF files.

Now, when I open one (such as Federal Communications Commission actions), the PDF.js viewer (standard with FF) doesn't load, even though "Preview..." is selected for PDFs in about:preferences; instead the file is downloaded.

I only use two extensions, Video DownloadHelper with its "co-app" and Bookmark Dupes. It doesn't appear that either of these were recently updated, and neither appears to be having any issues.

What else should I check that could have been amended as far as options or config?

A video at a Web site where I have often accessed videos now tells me the video is inaccessible because of "privacy and security settings." I don't think I have changed the settings since the last time I watched a video. In any case I have not been able to find the problem. I have tried the options for cookie settings without fixing the problem. What should the settings be?

CapitalOne.com does not support Firefox. In fact they block Firefox without telling people. I installed a UserAgent String switcher add on and was able to login.

The other day I tried to login to my capitalone.com banking web site.

I got errors all day long. I gave them a call over the weekend, they put me through to a web guy. He told me they just updated the site and asked me to try logging into the site via chrome, and private window. I was able to and he told that was a sign that need to clear my cookies and cache.

Capitalone.com does not list Firefox as a browser they support so the conversation ended there.

In Firefox I went to Edit > Preferences > Privacy & Security. I cleared EVERYTHING out and rebooted Firefox. No luck logging in, even with a private window. I got the error message:

Looks like you may need some help or you can try to sign in again.

I also tried disabling Adblock Plus on capitalone.com No luck either.

I also tried starting Firefox in safe mode then trying to log in. No luck, no error messages.

I double checked my password in Chromium. The password was good.

Any suggestions for what else I can try?

Again, after latest update (haha) the same thing is happening AGAIN. I have followed ALL of the troubleshooting suggestions and NONE are helpful. I continue to get the blank page.
