I have tried the various suggestions concerning Firefox saving windows settings including deleting xulstore.json, doing a full restore and total fresh install. After doing any of those, Firefox will open in a full (normal) window. After exiting and reopening Firefox, it goes back to opening in a half screen window. I am running Windows 7 Pro. No other browsers that I use have this issue. Firefox was okay until I upgraded to version 66 and beyond. I haven't gone back to version 65 to see if the issue exist there as well. I do run a modified pref.js that blocks and stops items based on my preferences. The window settings problem exists even if I would do no modifications to the pref.js file.

I had opened my Firefox and, before I restore the previous session tabs, my computer shut down, so it only restored my homepage (the only tab available at that moment). I had dozens of tabs to restore from last time... Is there a way to recover those tabs from a history of tabs or something? 10th june would be fine.

firefox quantum 60.7.0 on windows 10. When I try to save a bookmark, the drop down list of folders only shows 5 folders. I have dozens. I tried to open it in safe mode (no addons), but the behavior is the same. I have not lost the bookmarks. when I click the bookmarks menu item, they are all still there.

The problem with add-ons failing to download is well known now. But I tried the solution and it didn't work (addblock+ download failed). The preference "Allow Firefox to install and run studies" is checked and I can't download a dictionary. The weird thing is that I can download language packs and use it. Maybe it's linked to LMDE 3.

My diagnostic report said to delete some unused programs so wondering if I have to keep this old version or can I get rid of it, will save 144 mb. My confusion is the lower number is the most recent, with the addition of esr. I just uninstalled a Java 8 Update 73 because I have installed Java 8 Update 131, which should logically supersede it, right?! Thx.

In Internet Explorer I can mail a PDF file as attachment to an email message, through File, Send....

I cannot find this option in Firefox. Is it possibe to mail a PDF file as an attachment from Firefox?

The last time this question was asked, the answer pointed to a plugin which has since been deprecated. Is there any way to achieve this with an up-to-date browser?

I have a Sync account that I'm logged in right now inside the browser. I wanted to answer some questions on the forum but unfortunately it didn't accept my log in info so I had to make a new account

I've used Mozilla since it was Netscape 2. My six-year-old nephew draws better than your icon developers! Your interface sucks and there are no provisions to change it. Your browser interface is WORSE than Microsux interslut Explorer. You REMOVE functionality with every evolution and make it SLOWER. Not everyone can afford to buy a new computer every year to keep up with the bloatware you put out. Give me a way to change icons! I've known how to change the main icon. I want to make the thing at least LOOK decent, not like a bunch of scribbles!

I go to HuffPost, but can't access any article link. i get "page isn't redirecting properly..." this just started with the new update. it happens on 2 computers with win10 pro.

i tried about:config >>> access>>> accessibility.blockautorefresh is NOT bolded and is set to default - false

waterfox works fine on both computers...

At some point in the past 4-7 months (after a previous update), I am no longer able to open PDFs within a tab on the browser; it always asks me to download the file and either save it or open it in Preview (I'm running Mac OS 10.13.6). I've tried changing the settings in Preferences>General>Applications, but I see the attached, which leaves no option for "Open in firefox". Am I missing something? Is it still possible to open PDFs in Firefox?

My firefox version appears to be 60.6.2esr (64-bit). I am not allowed to perform my own firefox updates, which are controlled by my sysadmin... however I am able to add plug-ins. I suspect perhaps I am missing one.

When i enter the master password, Firefox remembers it till the time it is not closed. Is there some setting i can tweak such that after a while Firefox forgets the password?

Suddenly Youtube is not displayed correctly anymore (see image attached). No text, no logos. Just the videos themselves are still playing.

I already tried safe mode, no change. Also tried deleting all cookies. Also tried incognito mode. I'm using Firefox ESR (60.6.3esr) under Debian Testing. Any ideas?

FF MUST FIND A WORKAROUND FOR THIS ERROR: "The owner of www.xxxxx.blogspot.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website. This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox may only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate."

Absolutely not acceptable that FF prevents a user from doing what he desires to do. I'm not using any 3rd party security stuff that would demand certificates.

Maybe the blog owner has created his page using some code that conflicts with the higher doman, but there is no way to TELL him since I can't see the page... It is up to FF to somehow workaround this so that I, the USER, can control my tool. An uncontrollable tool is at best useless & at worst dangerous

Before Mozilla's add-ons bug, I could install Bitdefender TrafficLight. Now, however, I receive the error message "Download failed. Please check your connection." Please fix this bug.

This is on multiple Linux distributions: Linux Mint Cinnamon, Gecko Linux Cinnamon and LXQt, and Sparky Linux LXDE. uBlock Origin and HTTPS Everywhere install with no problem.

Hi. About a week or two ago when that signature bug with extensions happened, all of my extensions got disabled due to invalid signatures (including Firefox Containers) and now I have lost all of my data from container tabs, and container tabs is in same state if it was reinstalled.

Back when that bug happened, I read on Internet that I could fix this extension bug by enabling Mozilla Studies and that it'd automatically update Firefox with a patch which fixes this signature bug. It has restored all of my add-ons, however Firefox Containers has lost ALL of its data.

I have a full backup of firefox and all of data such as history, container tabs, bookmarks, etc. from 2 months ago (basically just a profile folder), but if it's possible, I would like to restore my container tabs from 2 weeks ago as it has newer tabs and everything.

If it is impossible to restore my container data from 2 weeks ago, please explain to me how can I pull only container data from a 2 month profile firefox backup.
