My Yahoo sign-in seal worked fine 'til this morning. It'll change the color but won't display the same or new text. Yahoo tech said it's a Firefox problem because it works in Internet Explorer. He dbl-checked that I wasn't on a phishing site. Any ideas to correct this? Thx-Kate

The connection has timed out

The server at uk.search.yahoo.com is taking too long to respond.

Firstly I have had to changed my home page because google will not load. Then I can get access into yahoo itself, mail etc but cannot get any of the search engines to function. All other websites ok apart from when trying to do searches!            
       

The yahoo search shows the following message or it indicates that the connection has broken. Tested internet connection and all ok!

Any advice appreciated.

When attempting to open a torrent through Firefox with Vuze (formerly Azureus) it gives me an error message stating: Wrong parameter usage. I have always done things this way before so not sure what caused the new error. I am able to do it through IE but not sure why I can no longer do with w/ Firefox.

The above happens on a frequent basis all of a sudden. I have been using Firefox for many years and this is one of the first time this happened.

I suspect it is due to the add-on Feedly that I have installed not too long ago.. Need someone to double confirm if it can be the cause.

On a sidenote, i checked my Firefox process and it seemed to use an exorbitant amt of memory - 218k worth of memory under task manager . Is it normal ?

As a network administrator, it would be very beneficial if Firefox and updates could be installed using AD Group Policy. Our network policy does not allow users to install software without administrative involvement and with Firefox being available only in .exe format I have to visit each workstation for every update...very tedious. Is your product available in .msi form?

Neither firefox nor internet explorer work anymore on my administrator account, but internet explorer works on my guest account. Perhaps a virus caused this. But windows explorer works fine. Computer is so fouled up I want to just buy a new one, better and cheaper than fixing the old one.

The pop up menus - with right mouse click, if they out from the firefox window, remain on the screen, them must be manually cleared with refresh desktop or drag over any other windows. The sidebar appear on the firefox. Firefox 7 stopping downloading any information while the mousepointer idle. To load in a site, must the mouse keep on continuos move. My God, Why? The password remembering function on one site cause strange situation. Remember to password, but clear the username. Firefox 7 not compatible any former useful extensions. Playing streamed media, the firefox 7 hangs up and only way to stop it, kill all involved process by task manager. I was a satisfied firefox user, until i updated a good old, but working one.

When I attempt to download documents from third party web sites - it won't download, the system will crash. I can go to IE and download with no problem. I have gone into the register and updated, I have updated adobe reader and acrobat - nothing I do will give pdf downloads a green light. It is about to the point where I am going to go back to IE because it is too much of a pain in the hind quarters going back and forth just to download a document.
