I click on an email listed in the inbox message stack to bring it into fullscreen viewing mode. After reading the message I click on the "Delete" icon to dispose of the message. The message that I just read is not deleted BUT on returning to the inbox stack I notice that the next message in the stack is missing. It is now in the deleted messages folder. I can use the Move To function to transfer the incorrectly deleted message back to my Inbox. This error seems to be permanent and consistent. Does anyone else get the same error? Is there a fix for this problem? This method of deleting emails did previously work correctly but I've noticed the problem since about August or September 2014. I'm using the current Firefox under Windows XP with all the available fixes. This problem does not occur using IE.

I have all plugins, averythig else is just fine, but these videos. If I go to the source of the videos, for example this one <embed src="http://blip.tv/play/hKYmg5TsVQA.html?p=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" height="270" width="320"> and go to http://blip.tv/play/hKYmg5TsVQA.html?p=1 all is fine video plays just fine. It is the same with other: <embed frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" src="http://www.b92.net/embed/index.php?nav_id=900667" webkitallowfullscreen="" mozallowfullscreen="" height="545" width="665"> if I go directly to http://www.b92.net/embed/index.php?nav_id=900667 all is fine.

In IE11 is the same. Only plays fine in Chrome. Any help?

They are now all updated to the sync date instead and my history of when I added a bookmark is lost, very disappointing...Any way to fix this?

Fortunately though I used folders in my bookmarks and anything in the folders is still history intact.

Also my browse history is date F#$$d also all my browse history even that "6 months old or older" is now dated last week when I joined sync.............no happy with this.

For some reason the Yahoo home page which I always use has been changed on Firefox. On IE it is the good old home page that I not only like but was used to. I prefer Firefox as my browser but would like the regular Yahoo home page back. Any ideas?

I am using my work's laptop. I have internet explorer which is required for our work's intranet related stuff and internet explorer uses our work's intranet home page. I also use firefox and like to use a different home page (ie bing, google, whatever...). So for work related stuff I use IE, for non-work web browsing I use firefox. Recently every time I reboot my PC and start up firefox, firefox uses my internet explorer (work intranet) homepage. I then easily reset it back to my preference (bing.com) and as long as the PC is on, if I close and open firefox it keeps bing.com as my home page. I could do this 20x over and it will keep bing.com as the home page. However when I shut down and restart the PC, firefox goes back to using the IE home page (work's intranet). Is there a permanent way to fix this. Our IT department was no help. A week before this started happening they did upgrade our computers to internet explorer 11. I tried resetting Firefox but that did not solve the problem.

I installed Stylish a few months ago, and it worked perfectly for a while - and then one day it just stopped. Nothing works. I checked to see if Firefox had updated - nope. I disabled and re-enabled the add-on - nope. I uninstalled and reinstalled it - nope. I installed a test script, thinking that maybe the problems were with individual scripts - nope. I went through the steps as directed here (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/982460) but that didn't work either.

While doing the last one I actually managed to fix another add-on that hadn't worked properly on this computer's Firefox - I have another computer that it worked perfectly on, and I think this computer's files for it were corrupted. I cleared out all that add-on's files on this computer and transferred the other computer's files for the add-on over, and now it works perfectly. However, when I tried this for Stylish (which also works perfectly on the other computer) it didn't work.

tl;dr: there's something wrong with this computer's Firefox and/or its files for the Stylish add-on, and I'd like to get whatever it is fixed.

When I close firefox and open it again the allowed list is empty.

I've marked it as don't notify me when a site tries to redirect and I've turned off add-ons but still when I reopen firefox the list is empty.

I've tried adding to the list manually and then via the drop down allow this site that option that's at the top of the page that's still blocked.

I can find others with problems but they don't lose the list when firefox shuts down.

Any ideas?

When logging on to AnimeFreak.tv or Justdubs.net - which are normal anime sites that I have been visiting for years now the following happened:

On occasion a second instance of Firefox opens without my permission and without any warning.

It display an off the wall advertisement. Sometimes it is a regular advertisement, and sometimes it has been adult.

I would appreciate it greatly if in the next upgrade of firefox something can be installed that brings a pop-up giving you the ability to block this if you choose or to make it so that there is an additional check box in security like pop-up blocker called instance blocker or something which would block this sort of action that web pages are taking. This security hole is one step away from a website infecting a computer with a virus. This seems to be something of a new advertising technique as I have only noticed this happening the last week. I have taken a screenshot of one of these instances. It is an advertisement for Gamemazing.com. I don't see a way to include an attachment otherwise I would send the picture as well.

Please help your browser software to become safer then Microsoft IE.

Why My google page looks like from 4 years back? It's old and lack of some function. I have this issue only on firefox, and on both windows and linux. Its happen when I update to 31 and with 32 is any good either. Clearing didn't work.

I was able to use ebay last night without any problems. But today it does not work.

When I try to go to http://www.ebay.com I get the "The connection was reset" page and I get this in the URL bar: "https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SignIn&UsingSSL=1&siteid=0&co_partnerId=2&pageType=2050601&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2F".

When I click "Try Again" It either reloads the reset connection page or I get "waiting for signin.ebay.com" at the bottom left for a while then it takes me to the account sign in page on ebay.

If I click the link to ebay.com on the page I go back to the reset connection page, if I try to sign in I go to the reset connection page and this goes in the URL bar: "https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?co_partnerId=2&siteid=0&UsingSSL=1".

I can go to ebay.com using Chrome but if I go to the sign in page I get "This page is not available"

What gives?

It doesn't matter whether I move the address to the home page icon or do it under options. The Google search page always opens and not the designated home page. Thank you.

Firefox opens ok, but rapidly has a drop down, small, top-centered window that says "Sync", but quickly goes blank and shortens right at the top of the wind. When this happens, it freezes Firefox and the only way out is to quit Firefox. I just upgraded Firefox to the latest version on a Mac OS 10.9.3 from an older version.

Currently using Firefox 30.0.3 Mac OS 10.9.5. When I tried to edit my collection of bookmarks buy opening the "show all bookmarks" in the pull-down menu., nothing happened. This usually opens a new tab or window with the bookmarks displayed. I then researched HELP and tried all those solutions to no avail. Even where the help topic says a bookmarks window will open, it does not. I have no way of editing or deleting en masse outdated bookmarks. Yes I can do so individually through the bookmark button on the toolbar - what a pain in the _________s.

Is this problem intentional, or a glitch?

At first it was showing: "Sync encountered and error while syncing: Unknown error"

Today it shows: "Sync encountered and error while syncing: Server incorrectly configured."

Same on all computers I have synced. Tried cleaning out everything, same problem.

Yes, I have updated sync to new one. And yes I have updated firefox. Versions 32.0.3

I think problem started approximately after firefox update.

outlook started getting untrusted connection error when using firefox. Not sure why it started but every few minutes it just times out and I have to re-open outlook from google. It does not get this error on IE or android firefox. I am using win 7. I spoke with microsoft and they say it is a firefox problem not outlook.

Things I have tried: - Updating firefox -Updating anti-virus - antivirus scans -turning off anti-virus -starting firefox in safe mode. - clearing all cache and history - disabling all add-ons - system restore - gone through 'untrusted connection' error on mozilla help (didn't fix it. there is no option to allow the certificate) - search on the net for a similar problem(found nothing)

So far it has been like this for a week and its starting to piss me off as it happened out of the blue.

I use firefox sync, it was going ok for months (since I started using it anyway - when FF got that new interface), now suddenly I keep seeing an error message about a "Wrong Recovery Key".

How can I fix this problem, I have done nothing to change any key. Why has it suddenly stopped working?

When I open a link that opens a new Firefox window, it opens 2 tabs instead of one. One tab is the link I opened and the second tab is just a generic Mozilla tab with links to 12 pages such as Facebook, Youtube, etc. This tab opens on top also, so I always have to close it to get what I'm looking for. How can I stop this from happening?

hi, i can not find any way to delete all my firefox history, except open windows and tabs. i could not find any solution about in the web. i did try almost all settings in privacy settings, nothing works. any ideas how to do that, or maybe suggestions for add ons?
